The Tree of Life is a 145-foot (44 m) sculpture of a baobab tree at Disney's Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World Resort. With over 8,000 branches of very different sizes and about 102,000 artificial leaves, the sculpture debuted when the theme park opened on April 22, 1998.

The Tree of Life honors animals and the place they all share in the great Circle of Life. At 145 feet tall, the massive tree towers over the land. Marvel at its gnarled roots and outstretched branches, then step closer to see the shapes of over 300 animals carved into the tree.

The branches span 165 feet across and the trunk is 50 feet wide. There are more than 100,000 leaves on the tree. Twenty artists carved more than 320 animals into its trunk, branches and roots. Thousands worked on the Tree of Life, which took 18 months to construct.

Again. Classic shot you can't leave Animal Kingdom without.

I found this mini tree on ebay. It reminded me of "Tree of life".

To commemorate Chichi's life, I planted it on his grave.

Nestled in the middle of the Bahraini desert, where no apparent water source exists, the seemingly impossible Tree of Life (Shajarat-al-Hayat) baffled scientists for centuries while inspiring a number of fables about its miraculous survival.
