Tree of life!

Day 23 of #30dayphotochallenge

These were shot at the same date, different times of the day and different angles. Such a photogenic tree! The question is, how are they maintaining it to look this good? Fantastic job, owners!

Shot on #Canon R5 + RF 100-500 (day) and RF 28-70 f/2 (night)

A couple years ago I spent some time capturing photos from around the base of the Tree of Life. I'm glad I did because these views are probably gone forever...

One of the few places at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park where you can get both Expedition Everest and the Tree of Life in frame. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

On of those views you just cant get any more...

Here, let me make you happy as I wash your robes (and you), so you have the right to the tree of life and the freedom to enter the gates of the city. Rev 22: 14.

An ancient symbol, in modern embroidery.

We're not too long from having this be an almost every day occurence. This park at night is just a completely different experience and hopefully more people start to take it in.

Thanks for looking!

As my 16mm on aps-c was to narrow to take this photo, had to take wide mobile photo of this epic tree struggling for life, on the shore of lake Gradinsko on Plitvička jezera.

Lovely Tree of Life style candleholder seen at the Tucson Museum of Art. Made in Izucar de Matamoros, Puebla

It is close to impossible create an original, unique image of the famous "Tree of Life" found on Fairy Lake in the Port Renfrew area, but this is my contribution to many images of it. I am amazed how this little tree survives on this log.

"The Metaphor, Tree of Utah" sculpture on the Utah Bonneville Salt Flats about twenty five miles from Wendover, UT along Interstate 80.

The sculpture was assembled in the 1980s by Swedish artist Karl Momen. It is also known as "Metaphor: The Tree of Life." At its 1986 dedication it was called "A hymn to our universe whose glory and dimension is beyond all myth and imagination." This art piece is the fourth tallest sculpture in the United States and is just about the only non salt thing for miles around. Art is in the eye of the beholder I suppose.

For the last few weeks I've been creating tons of photos and then throwing them to the side. Every so often I think that my tastes have not changed necessarily, but have become more specific. I'm not as thrilled anymore with the "same old thing", and the fact that I know what "the same old thing" means in relation to my photos means it's time for a change. I feel creatively more alive than ever as I've been doing a lot of thinking about who I am and what I want to say. I can't wait to push harder and say it!

"Prayerful Reflections"

Good Sunday Morning everyone! This is a one shot image taken through the windows of an old stone church. The interior of the image is captured as the exterior of the trees and road are reflected off the doors that lead into this church. It was a tricky shot to get but sure am glad I did! My favorite image of the weekend! :)
