This little sequence is me eventually passing this fella in front of me. He was teasing me for the first two laps, picking up the speed and keeping it high enough to keep a good lead on me. He knew I was there.

 

But I held my pace and he faded. I took him on the hill.

You can really taste the big spiny bits...

Found on entrance road to Four Seasons Marina. It is amazing that people drive fast enough on this entrance drive to hit animals.

One of Kent's fabled black squirrels. I have heard various stories, like a professor bringing some back from Toronto to study them, and then they were let loose. They're more aggressive than their gray counterparts, so they've been able to thrive.

 

I blame the Industrial Revolution, myself.
