Plan was for Stanage or Higger Tor but they still had their heads in the clouds so made my way to Surprise View.
Not sure about this as woodland isn't something that comes easy to me so go easy on me:)
Walking the bridge along the way from my apartment to Central Business District, I have to cross a pedestrian walk way over the bridge so I took on every occasion my handheld Olympus infrared camera waiting for the right skyline to take a shot of the view from the bridge. A beautiful area to begin with, the bridge host an entry to a hiking and cycling trails that span from Adelaide Hills to Henley Beach, about 26K stretch. It is a super scenic trail for anyone visiting this area and it was a home for me and my wife to do 16K walking every weekend, I will miss this place when I leave here.

- www.kevin-palmer.com - Evening sunlight filters in to the Tongue River, lined with ice and boulders.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - There were all kinds of interesting patterns and shapes in the ice along the Tongue River in the canyon.
We met our son in Maui. He is a U.S. Marine and is stationed in Okinawa, Japan. We hadn't seen him for almost 2 years. So, we met halfway, in Maui! This was the sunset on the first day there.
- www.kevin-palmer.com - The trail through Tongue River Canyon was very slick and icy. But I was wearing microspikes on my shoes so I didn't slip once.
This was one of my better photos of the fire, that had broken out at Broadbent road scrap yard.
However I was unable to get any closer as the police had got there first and started telling people to go away. This shot was just before they started to clear me off.
More of the project documenting may friend Tomo, a skater and surfer from Daventry who got fed up and decide to move on his own to Cornwall to live the dream.
These images where taken at Playing Place, a 30 odd year concrete bowl in a little village just outside of Truro.

Lovely little church, took this , when went for a Bike ride
St Edith's, Coates-by-Stow is a tiny church, probably of Saxon origin. It has many special features, a Norman doorway and font, a stunning rood screen and majestic tower arch.
Almost every century has made a distinctive contribution to the structure, a testimony to the many people whose spiritual home it has been. Amazingly, it escaped the ravages of the Reformation as it was, and still is, hidden by treesm on a moated site.
However, although the church is an architectural gem, it is its peace and serenity, an oasis in the middle of a very busy commercial farm, whihc is especially appreciated by many visitors.
It is a living place of worship, with a Service at 8.30am on the Second Sunday of every month, as well as Group Services and Celebrations at Christmas, Easter, Rogation and Harvest-time.
It is available for weddings (small), christenings, funerals and special visits, by arrangement.
A warm welcome is extended to all visitors.
