This week in SSC:
"Trees"
I saw this row of trees the other day while out and about. I thought they looked nice against the apartments. I don't know what kind they are. Maybe you recognize them.

Seals and Crofts from their album "Summer Breeze" (1972)
Fall Sunset Through the Trees is a photo from the "Devils Elbow" section of North Park, PA. While the sun was soon covered up by the clouds, I was able to grab this last shot of the day.
Sorry the focal distance in the EXIF is wrong, it was a first trial with a non-cpu lens:

I felt like my past images were going a bit overboard in the contrast area, so I rebelled against it.
I feel I have a bad habit of just laying in interesting places... My goal for tomorrow's image is to have me actually doing something. If it isn't I expect you to send me hate mail. Thanks!
This one is all about textures and contrasts. The strong sunlight on a cold day gave a good effect.
Thanks for viewing :)

It's often said that our images are a reflection of ourselves. Given that, I thought this might be fun. Here's a little haiku.
thin crown, hairy nape
physiology of trees
mirror of myself
I saw this old tree that had lost about half of its base. Shadows and sun, textures and bright green winter grass. I like it. Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens.
