No people
phantoms
of light/shadow
brush-by
flash of blue
girl drifting
in a blush
of red, sky
broken into
white panels,
voice filling
the air the ears
and nothing is not
moving, wash
of air, arrivals
departures
those with no
where to go
we are all
travelers
in an absolute
stillness of
space

Exploration is in our nature. We began as wanderers, and we are wanderers still. We have lingered long enough on the shores of the cosmic ocean. We are ready at last to set sail for the stars.

I recently had the privilege of teaching 15 students about storytelling and conceptual artwork. We focused on a story of Lost Travelers for this workshop, and this is the full scene that I created for the day! I am still in awe of how brilliant everyone involved in this workshop is, working with such talented models and students made such a huge impression on me! If you're interested in taking one of my workshops, please email me at robwoodcoxphoto@gmail.com, or fill out the contact form on my website!
