I use the saturation slider to bring out the otherwise faded colors of the rope used in these traps. A layer mask confined the adjustment to the traps so that the colors in the background didn't get out of control. HSS!

The Japanese Flowering Quince (Chaenomeles japonica) has been flowering its little head off since December now, and is showing no sign of stopping. I love its elegant form and the colour tones beautifully with the turquoise glass and deep brown leather.
