The spider spun her web with pride, a fortress of threads and hunger. But the killer bug came cloaked in stillness, tiptoeing the lattice she thought was hers. One touch with the long fang and the hunter was trapped. One shot of this drama in nature.

It might be a female Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanea) entrapped in the space between the window glass and huge stockpiles of beer boxes. This species of dragonflies is quite inquisitive and can venture far from ponds or rivers that could explain how it end up there on a hot day. Epsom, England, UK
I noticed these leaves trapped below the ice that had formed in the plant saucer. I liked the patterns and colours.
