Question de pouvoir d’achat.
School transportation
Antsirabe (Madagascar) - This photo was taken very early in the morning when I was looking for a place to have a coffee, my guesthouse not bothering with this kind of service.
I was waiting for opening time in front of a French bakery that serves excellent espresso, when I saw this rickshaw arrive. I just had time to shoot.
Every morning rickshaws and cycle rickshaws take the children to private school. Those who attend public schools go there on foot. question of purchasing power. There, it was obviously one of the first school transports of the day.
I did not see when taking the photo that the man was barefoot. In Madagascar, this is not uncommon. On the carbon borrowing side, if we do not take into account working conditions, this type of transport is the best. Better than the Amish.
Restored inclined lift at the National Slate Museum, Gilfach Ddu in Padarn Country Park, Llanberis
The museum is housed in the former workshop buildings of Dinorwic Quarry on the banks of the Llyn Padarn opposite Llanberis at the foot of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa), the highest mountain in Wales. Here, in the second largest slate quarry in the world, the fissile sedimentary rock was extracted from the end of the 18th century until 1969. Following the decline of the Welsh slate industry, tourism is the main source of income for the locals.

Here's my entry to the TTV Brickonicle Contest. I wanted to incorporate the original canister types in a way that made sense for a modern lego set. Here it is used as the main storage section on a transport vehicle.
The label would be on the inside of the canister instead of the outside, and it would also be reversible to show a more fitting print to go with the scene. In this case, it is a riveted paneling texture.

I spotted this scooter parked at the edge of the beach and I couldn't resist grabbing a shot of her. I didn't get to see the rider but it's pretty obvious that they love their wheels based on how clean and shiny is was. I think the contrast between the smooth shiny bike and the rough muted tones of the tree is what caught my attention.
