Near the foot of Exit Glacier, in Alaska, USA. Originally photographed in 1996 using a Pentacon 6x6 medium format camera and a Carl Zeiss Biometar 80mm f2.8 standard lens. Film used was Fujichrome Velvia 50 120 roll film. Copied to digital image by placing the original transparency on a diffuser box from a Durst enlarger and illuminating with a flash gun situated behind the diffuser with a Nikon D800 plus old Tamron 90mm SP f2.5 macro lens capturing the image.

... well, as you see im back...and I must tell you that im back with another camera, So, this means that I havent learn how to use it yet, and because of that im pretty sure that my pics are going to be worse that before ;( .... but just until I learn how to use this... [ I hope this is going to be soon haha ; ) ]
... About this image, this is one of the first pics I took a few days ago in San Rafael .... this is a wild flower in the country side of that region...and, I dont know the name ...sorry =(

The wind was around force 35 mph and this gull was attempting a controlled landing. I was fascinated by the transparency of the feathers, yet strong enough to battle the air flow.

One of a group of transparencies taken on Kodachrome in March 1969 on a Praktica L camera borrowed from school. Without the help of a light meter, the exposures were guessed with varying success plus a combination of fading and a child's sticky fingers haven't helped the images. Slides copied on an Epson Perfection desktop scanner.
