i have been experimenting with trick photography lately, since its something i haven't done since the summer i took photography lessons when i was 10 or 12 (how the hell did i just remember that?). yeah, its gimmicky, so what.

Translucent, ethereal, and ready for some magical creative layering ... Sculpted asymmetric husk in hand-dyed deep dark chocolate brown silk organza, with muted lavender-gray serged threads. It has a long tail in back, and sort of a wing, maybe, on the back of the right arm.

 

Hand made by me in my studio and one-of-a-kind.

 

Are you familiar with this fabric? It's lightweight but very sturdy, almost mesh-like, with a good bit of body.
