Smoke, water and a mystical spirit figure. Originally produced for Flickr Friday "See Through" but I decided to post a different picture as this was similar to my Macro Monday "Song" post.
we just had the first frosty nights, but this hydrangea lets not impressed by that, she´s still florishing...
This solar lamp changes colour, which is quite jolly during cold, gloomy evenings during our current 'bonus winter' season.
Today the Hereios of the We're Here! group are shooting Stuff in the Yard (which because it's a US group includes gardens).
You may be getting really tired of tulips at this point, but I'm not, and hey, it's my photostream, right?

The magic of late autumn color is closing fast! I still find these delicate leaves with the diffusing soft sunlight and earthy tones to be of some merit...
Our weather is changing fast today with wet, heavy snow just north into Minnesota. Sigh...

I placed this Dahlia directly in front of the sun to get this effect and it was some what effective, and Im thinkin I like it to:)
Abbey's hat is seriously perplexing to me. It really is quite fabulous, but it only lays right, to me at least, when Abbey's hair is in the default style. Not to mention how hard the true color is to capture on film. See that purple area of Abbey's suit? That's closer to the hat's actual color!
On a cold & wet stroll through the Winter Garden in Seattle's Washington Park Arboretum. It's a New Year's Day tradition for Michael and me.

we ended our trip at our dear friend's house in Toronto. While the kids bonded over video games, I found moments of inspiration in their back yard. i took so many photos! but these are the best and I love sharing them with you!
