A 34.5kv to 4kv sub in Fornfelt, Mo. using small transformers. Photographed 1964 from a moving car so I would not have to stop to distract my parents who were driving. A fast shutter speed was used to minimize blur.

My nephew loves Transformers and this one is based on a black knight character from one of his Scooby Doo video games. In the game you catch the knight by activating a huge magnet, so I figured I'd use magnets in the doll. Crocheted individual pieces. The arms and legs are attached by magnets, they can be reconfigured to make it look (sorta) like a car. Those are the wheels on the back of his legs. Helmet is removable. I finished it late, too rushed, didn't get good pictures.

Most of the pieces start with the basic 6sc magic ring and increase to make tubes, except for the body and feet. The body consists of 6 basic sc rectangles sewn together. The feet start with a sc rectangle, then sc around for 3-4 rows; sc a small square flap for the top of the foot, sew together, then change colors and continue up for the leg.
