Al fin tengo un Megatron G1. Estas reediciones de Encore son lo mejor, nos dieron la oportunidad de tener estas figuras totalmente nuevas.
Megatron, el gran líder de los decepticons en su forma original un arma Walther P-38. Su forma alterna es una reproducción casi exacta. Su forma robot es un poco primitiva ya que es uno de los primeros diseños de robots transformables japoneses que luego serían los Transformers. Pero ¡¡¡es Megatron!!!

Hun-Grrr from the Terrorcons finally joins my Classics collection. This Decepticon was made by the third-party toy maker Unique Toys. Siegfried (Ordin O-04) is pictured in robot mode.
Hun-Grrr is the leader of the Terrorcons, and he makes up the central torso of the combiner.
The toy itself is very expressive in all his modes, albeit there are slight engineering and production issues with his legs for combined mode.
Failed attempt at testing. The transformer was inadequate so it gave a lower voltage (122V in the picture). Another transformer was used in the final design. But even then, it worked somewhat. The lamp at the right is used as a load. It is a 30W lava lamp and as you see, it lights up (albeit at a lower brightness due to the reduced voltage).
The transformer had a wrong secondary (18-0-18V instead of 12-0-12V). Also it couldn't handle 100W of power, increasing the load reduced the voltage even further. Getting an appropriate transformed solved the problems, and it was ready to be built on a box.
The left multimeter shows output voltage, the right one shows input current draw.
Doing some P=I·V calculations based on the values given by the meters, it seems to have some pretty good efficiency.

Uno de los personajes más interesantes de la G1 vuelve en la línea Classic con el nombre de la figura (en la serie se llamaba Skyfire). Es de las mejores figuras de la línea Classics.
Tiene dos modos de robot, uno más parecido al Skyfire y otro a Jetfire y dos modos de jet.
