I used to watch the Transformers cartoon as a child. Optimus Prime was my favourite character. This tiny keychain figure thing is so tiny.
This is a square of printed fabric with characters from the first Transformers movie.
Used for my birthday party.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Transformers i built something i thought would not be possible.
The autobots come in all shape and form, but a rather rare and unknown combiner are certainly the mighty trainbots
Released only in japan as an exclusive
it never hit the us toy market.
Featured in the #headmasters episodes Raiden is one of the first autobots built on earth.
yukikaze is a shinkansen 200 series
suiken is a tokaitype153
seizan is a hakuchō 485
kaen is a de10 diesel
getsuei a ef65
and
shouki the leader another shinkansen 0 series
The model in combine mode stands 65cm tall.
In altmode the model drives with only one powerunit built into Kaen.
The overall build time, physical and digital was over 4 months.

Hot Rod es una de las mejores figuras de la película de 1986 con un modo alterno muy vistoso y bien diseñado, y un robot avanzado para los diseños de la época. Conseguí esta figura en excelente trato en eBay, impecable con todo y su caja.

Hot Rod is one of the best figures of the 1986 movie with an very striking and well designed alternate mode, and an advanced robot mode for its time.
I got this figure in an excellent deal in eBay, practically untouched in its box.

This is the Optimus that cames in "The Battle Begins" two pack together with Megatron. These versions are Deluxe class and they have "battle damage" finish. Transformation is very interesting, but my favorite Optimus of this toyline is the Voyager class.
Transformers Generations Legends Class Cliffjumper and Suppressor. Pictured in robot modes.
Cliffjumper's gun has been loaned to Nemesis Prime, who I think it looks better with.

Ratchet es una de las figuras menos estéticas de G1, ya que fue de los primeros Diaclone que salieron, probablemente pensaron en un meca al diseñarlo más que en un robot humanoide.
Al principio estaba un poco quitado para comprarlo, pero al final me decidí y quise aprovechar estas maravillosas reediciones Encore de Takara, así que aquí está.
Esta reedición trae una cara opcional de cartón para que se parezca más al personaje de la serie animada.
La verdad, la figura me gusta mucho más en vivo que como se ve en las fotos.

Segundo Monsterbot que forma parte de mi colección junto con Doublecross. Los Monsterbots practicamente no aparecen en ninguna serie animada, excepto por una breve aparición en la serie japonesa Headmasters.

Universe Silverbolt is an excellent homage to the G1 character, even he has a simple transformation.
I wanted to get the Takara version, but the one from Hasbro is good enough.
Transformers Masterpiece Ratchet (MP-30) in his ambulance mode.
He uses the same base mold as Ironhide and therefore is an excellent figure. Ratchet's only downside is that some of his white paint can flake off.
Transformers Generation 1 Sunstreaker in Lamborghini mode.
This is a better version of G1 Sunstreaker that is newer than my childhood toy. This one actually has his black backplate and has been re-stickered with fresh stickers from Reprolabels.

El malvado líder de los decepticons vuelve a ser una pistola después de más de 20 años!!!
Megatron ha pasado a ser desde un tanque, un dinosaurio hasta un jet cibertroniano, sin embargo en la línea Classics regresa en forma de arma.
Un poco colorida pero el diseño está genial. La transformación es bastante compleja y divertida. La forma de robot recuerda bastante a la G1 sobretodo por su cañon en el brazo.
Ever since it's debut announcement in the recent San Diego Comic-Con, the Hasbro MP Thundercracker is one of a few TF figures I really like to have. So, within the last two weeks, sightings have been reported and alas, I finally got lucky this weekend as it became available in my local TRU retail store....
