This bee hive was huge. It was up at my parents trailer park... I was visiting last week and snapped a few shots.
I've never seen one quite this big.
To celebrate the release of Transformers 2 in China, a hardcore group of Transformers fans organized a drive through the streets of Beijing. Only they didn't do it in their regular looking cars. Each participant has transformed a normal daily driver into a bumblebee camaro style looking automobile.
The organized event was arranged by Chevy dealer in China even got in on the act, taking a rally yellow Camaro and applying paint to the front fascia so as to mimic the second generation Bumblebee Camaro's front end.
What's most telling to us is the universal fan base that GM has apparently managed to build with the design of the Bumblebee Camaro and its shrewd placement in a blockbuster movie. Seemingly, movie and automotive fans alike from across the world of different ethnicities and fans of all varied makes of cars have taken very kindly to the movie and its star transformer/car.

Incoming 3-wire supply feeds the step-down transformer in delta configuration, the multiple outgoing 4-wire domestic supplies are connected in Wye configuration to add a "neutral" wire (in addition to the 3-phases stepped down to 240 Volts AC).
The transformer is protected by incoming and outgoing fuses on the near face of the lower two cross-posts.
The shorter stand-alone pole is a "Fibre To The Kerb" telecommunications service managed by a local Canberra telco, TransACT, that provides my household Telephone, Cable TV and Broadband Internet. That very pole carried this picture to Flickr.
Like the KO MP-12 I got recently, the KO TigerTrack is very much like the original Takara-Tomy MPs in terms of manufacturing and quality. I don't think you can distinguish the KO version from the original one (with the exception of the panel lining in the front headlight w/c is present on the original Takara-Tomy release)...
Little is known of Tigertrack in both the original G1 cartoon or comic continuity and so it was a puzzle for me as to why Takara-Tomy released Tigetrack instead of the more famous G1 Autobot Sunstreaker.
Tigetrack's Autobot faction symbol comes in a separate sticker rather than a tampograph so you will have an option to apply it (or not). This was done in homage to the pre-Transformers Diaclone iteration. The KO Tigertrack comes in a nice monochrome box.
I've not seen any customization to Sunstreaker for this mold w/c is a bit surprising. I really plan to do the same as soon as I see a viable custom product for Sunstreaker's head mold....

La lÃnea Masterpiece siempre impresiona por sus detalles y presentación. En este caso Starscream , la versión original de Takara, trae un color gris verdoso, similar al color original del F15 real.

I thought it would be funny to put this group together as a comparison to my other shots.

No Arcee sure leaves a whole, as does the too large Wheelie, and the absolutely naked looking Ultra Magnus.
Overlord is a Decepticon leader from Transformers:Masterforce cartoon series
He comprised of a #military tank and a jet plane , piloted by human characters Giga and Mega respectively. Both of them are Powermaster engine that can be plugged to Overlord to enhance his strength an firepower.
Both the tank and jet plane also can merge to form a highly weaponized base mode with ramps ,platforms and grapple arms for maintenance and repair of smaller Transformers.

Uno de los mejores diseños que he visto en Transformers recientemente y uno de los mejores de la pelÃcula. La transformación es bastante compleja y divertida. El modo robot es excelente, super articulado y se puede poner en poses muy divertidas y el modo alterno es muy real. Hubiera preferido sin las llamas, pero igual no me molestan mucho.
En la foto aparece junto con Pepsi Optimus Prime, para comparación de tamaño y diseño.
Un gran regalo de un gran amigo. Muchas gracias bro!

This thrilling action scene involves Shia and Rosie being chased by an evil Decepticon Transformer and the US military trying to fend off the evil robot. As Shia and Rosie run for safety through an office building, the Decepticon tips the building over. For this scene one floor of an office building was built on a giant platform that tilts to an angle. All cast and crew appeared to be very happy working together and very focused on creating the "greatest action film of all time". Later in the day, while filming continued, a big satellite TV was brought on the set to air the live championship game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Boston Celtics. Everyone stopped working to watch the final few minutes of the exciting game. When the Lakers won, there were wild cheers and applause by most people on set including big Laker fan, Shia LaBeouf. Originally I was going to make it grey, but pictures of transformers online, as well as pictures of scale models suitable for 1/50-scale metal trucks, often show they have a greenish colour. So, I built it in Lego sand green instead. It is a pleasingly colourful contraption.

Bonecrusher recicla el nombre de uno de los constructicons de la G1. En la pelÃcula tiene un papel impactante pero corto, en una de las excelentes batallas cuerpo a cuerpo, esta vez con Optimus Prime. El robot tiene un diseño, bastante "alien" pero imponente. Me hubiera gustado un poco más grande, por lo menos en tamaño Voyager.

One of the best figures in the last years, the long awaited Grimlock Masterpiece. He has amazing details and gimmicks, and he's a great homeage to the G1 version.
It's worth every penny and it's an excellent way to commemorate the 250th figure in my collection.

La figura Optimus Prime Masterpiece trae una pistola Megatron miniatura que se puede colocar en el Starscream como se ve en la foto. También salió en un episodio de la serie original.

The single most imposing looking drawing of a Transformer I have ever seen..EVER! "Call of the Primatives" Predaking.
I was on a G1 marathon this week, and man... I just freaking love season 3!
I mean, the dark turn that this series took was sooo damned different for such a major property back then.
It' like something i read elsewhere, about how the Autobots seemed to be on the losing end of the war this season. And you could feel the tonal shift! It's like you knew the good guys would win, but then again..Maybe not?
There where so many things going on here.
An Autobot leader whom was so full of self doubt, that he seemed to hate himself and his role as leader.
Plus, a schizoid Decepticon leader that seemed more dangerous to his own soldiers than the Autobots. Hell, dude was even committed to a planet for psychotherapy reasons!
A zombie version of Optimus Prime coming back to kill off his own team, before coming to his senses and deciding to kill himself to save them in the end.
Starscreams ghost coming back for a little of the ol' "Ultraviolence!"
And let us not forget that Decapitated giant rotting head floating around! DAMN!
So many good memories watching this as a kid. I was surprised that many fans don't like this season so much?
It does not feel like a cash grab like i have seen some people claim. It really feels like the moment that the writers where really fleshing out the G1 mythology, and built this previously unseen world around it we never saw.
But yeah. The comics and toys were cool beans and all. But the G1 era made this the franchise that has endured on, even 30 years later! And regardless of how mired in all the very unneeded political soapboxing, bad assery, and other crap it has been in as of late. Which is what made me unfan TFs for a bit. Rewatching this bad MO-FO made me a fan once more!
Now, hopefully i can go to webworld and erase the live-action movie from my soul..

It's a Habro Reissue and I got him MISB.
