Les deux Frères (The Two Brothers) facing Cap Sicié - The Two Brothers are two rocks emerging at the tip of Cap Sicié (Var, France) and visible from the Sablettes beach in La Seyne-sur-Mer. It is a place that welcomes many boaters as well as diving clubs whose objective is to visit a wreck located in the immediate vicinity.
The myth of “Les Deux Frères” has given rise to various interpretations. One of them speaks of two fishermen brothers who were inseparable until a mermaid seduced the youngest and lured him down into the depths of the sea. In an attempt to save him, his elder was also dragged to his death, unable to resist the charm of the sea creature. During his agonising final minutes, he begged the god Apollo to save them and ensure they were forever together. And that is how they came to be transformed into two rocks located offshore of Cape Sicié.
The second myth evokes an injured mermaid washed up on the beach, whom the two sailors tried to save. But as misfortune would have it, they both fell madly in love with her and fought to the death. When the mermaid swam back out to sea, she begged Poseidon to bless them with a visible and immutable form in memory of their shared passion. The god of seas and oceans answered her wish by transforming the two unfortunate sailors into two rocks.
Legend tells also that a giant octopus devours careless visitors… In the Sixties, it was even said that the authorities erected a fence around the little island to avoid overly-curious divers meeting their demise.

Hot weather this summer has transformed a juicy English landscape into somewhat surreal scorched land. This shot was taken on Little Solsbury Hill. The hill plateaued at 625 feet (191 m) overlooking village of Batheaston and the surrounding area with spectacular views of the city of Bath from the east. The hill is the site of an Iron Age hill fort, is maintained by the National Trust, and is within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. This is the first time I visited the place scouting for a different location to shoot the August Supermoon on the following day. The flat top of the hill dominated by various species of dried thistle plants and dry grass making it looks like Mediterranean arid landscape thanks to incredibly dry and hot weather this during last few weeks. The setting sun enhanced this feeling even more. Little Solsbury Hill, Batheaston near Bath, BANES, England, UK.

Some spaces don’t need grand excesses to convey beauty. Sometimes, the balance between materials, a serene color palette, and the way light flows into every corner are enough to transform a room into a true sanctuary. This living room is a clear example of how design can feel warm, elegant, and deeply inviting.
Inspired by the charm of contemporary farmhouse style, the space combines the texture of white-painted brick walls with the richness of dark wood and a delicate selection of natural fibers. The sofas, in ivory and olive green tones, provide a sophisticated contrast that integrates perfectly with the small botanical details scattered throughout the room.
The true protagonist, however, is the light. A warm summer glow seems to stream in from a side window, casting soft shadows on the furniture and enhancing each texture without sacrificing naturalness. This interplay of light adds depth to the space, subtly and realistically bringing the fabrics, wood, and ceramics to life. It doesn’t overwhelm the space; It simply complements the space, creating a tranquil atmosphere that invites you to pause, enjoy a conversation, or share a coffee on a bright afternoon.
The central table acts as the heart of the composition. Fresh fruit, books, ceramic pieces, and floral arrangements create a balance between decoration and functionality, demonstrating that small, everyday objects can also become focal points when arranged harmoniously.
On the walls, botanical illustrations and paintings, placed naturally, add personality without overwhelming the space. Each element seems to have found its place spontaneously, reinforcing that feeling of lived-in home that defines today’s most inspiring interiors.
This space reminds us that good design isn’t just about choosing beautiful furniture. It’s about creating emotions. About allowing architecture, decoration, and light to converse with each other to build a setting where comfort is felt even before you sit down.
Because in the end, the most memorable homes aren’t the most perfect, but those where every corner seems to embrace us with the warmth of a summer afternoon.

Return to the old Liège baths and thermal baths transformed into a Cité Miroir, a place of debate, education and culture.
The Liège alderman Georges Truffaut launched the Bains et Thermes project. It includes two swimming pools, a bus station, a hydrotherapy section, additional premises, a café-restaurant, a dance hall. The modernist architect Georges Dedoyard will be appointed after a competition with very strict regulations.
The building was completed under the Nazi occupation and opened its doors to the public in May 1942. Georges Truffaut, who had died in resistance in England a month earlier, would never see his project succeeded.
Considered one of the most important achievements of the Modernist style of the interwar period, the Sauvenière building takes the form of a liner of majestic proportions. Inside, the most unique feature is the large pool hall which stretches 80 meters long and more than 10 meters high.
Dedoyard was inspired by the German Bauhaus artistic and architectural movement. The elementary forms - here the cube and the sphere - are highlighted, symmetry reigns. Bare walls, clean lines, the omnipresence of reinforced concrete and glass go in the direction of this essentially functionalist architecture.
When the beloved pass away, Christmas transforms from a joyful celebration into a deeply complex emotional journey. The absence becomes a profound, almost tangible presence - a silent void where love, warmth, and tradition once resided.
So I’ll raise my cup to the stars up above,
To the moments we shared and the love that remains.
Though this Christmas feels heavy with sorrow and love,
I’ll carry you with me through joy and through pains.

Time and circumstance (and weather!) have prevented me from capturing full blown autumnal vistas of colour this year, so here are three mini-me autumn scenes that I have managed to capture on my wanderings of late…
Better in L.
When she transformed into a butterfly,
the caterpillars spoke not of her beauty,
but of her weirdness.
They wanted her to change back
into what she had always been.
But she had wings.
-Dean Jackson
A few weeks ago Alex Currie, Valerie Kasinski, Elaina Trapani and I took a little road-trip to Taughannock falls.
Elaina gracefully modeled this set of wings and looked absolutely magical! I made the wings a few weeks prior, they are manually cut, painted, wired, and stitched together by hand.

This NASA Hubble Space Telescope image, taken in near-infrared light, transforms the pillars into eerie, wispy silhouettes, which are seen against a background of myriad stars.
The near-infrared light can penetrate much of the gas and dust, revealing stars behind the nebula as well as hidden away inside the pillars. Some of the gas and dust clouds are so dense that even the near-infrared light cannot penetrate them. New stars embedded in the tops of the pillars, however, are apparent as bright sources that are unseen in the visible image.
The ghostly bluish haze around the dense edges of the pillars is material getting heated up by the intense ultraviolet radiation from a cluster of young, massive stars and evaporating away into space. The stellar grouping is above the pillars and cannot be seen in the image. At the top edge of the left-hand pillar, a gaseous fragment has been heated up and is flying away from the structure, underscoring the violent nature of star-forming regions.
Astronomers used filters that isolate the light from newly formed stars, which are invisible in the visible-light image. At these wavelengths, astronomers are seeing through the pillars and even through the back wall of the nebula cavity and can see the next generations of stars just as they're starting to emerge from their formative nursery.

Age: 18-24 (ageless at 8)- DOB: June 13th, 1986
Height: 3’6 on flat feet; 4’7 on base of feet
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue
History/Origin:
Timothy was born to both Lycan parents & shared a life like any other kid, but with a few questions regarding his earlier life.
For years, Timmy has had constant dreams that he was running on all fours through the woods, preying on animals, and seeing what looked liked his parents as Wolf-Like people. In reality, it was Timothy sleepwalking every Full Moon as a Werewolf.
It was only when Tim was 8 years old that he found out that he was a Werewolf & had witnessed his first Transformation into a Werewolf, even though he had seen himself Transform before, but was too young too remember that event. :D
Clothing/Appearance:
Although Timothy strictly prefers to be Naked whenever he can, he will however wear occasional Shirts with Pants/Shorts with different trademark designs on his shirt like; Batman, T2, Blade Runner, Superman, Wolverine & other logo’s on them.
Timmy also has a very strong dislike for any kind of foot wear, and goes BAREFOOT all the time, aside from Skool, which irritates him Horribly & interrupts his concentration, which is due to the fact that he has the BIGGEST Feet in his school.
All Werewolves have a natural habit to go Naked/Barefoot & have no shame or embarrassment about it.

Other: BIG Fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, and has a rare form of Kaiser’s Syndrome which is only apparent in Lycanthropes.
Secret: Hates his brother, Jake Tolbain, with a Passion & blames him for his parents death, and had once questioned his own Humanity as a Werewolf for a long time in his mid-late teens.
