Things are almost ready for "haftseen"; 7 symbolic items that start with the letter س are normally gathered as the preparation for Nuroz (the Persian New Year). Eggs are not one of the 7 items, but are traditionally included as a sign of creation and life. They are normally decorated.

Snow Transformation
I was surprised at how this looks and happy to have had the moment to take the photo from my front porch...the old mower and flag became symbolic of the wounded and brave men in chairs.

This is how I bend down to peep through The Salon's two-way mirror – as I spy on my husband and his new lover, Sir Charles Dexter!
As I watch, they are in ‘flagrante delicto’ together, in my hubby’s personal boudoir at The Salon. Hubby is in his “Lulu” persona – a devastatingly sexy femme fatale and seductress, who looks as if she has just wandered off a 1950s Hollywood sound stage. "Lulu" is dressed today in seamed black stockings, crotchless black nylon panties (for easy access!), a lacy black garter belt, a quarter-cup lacy black bra, and (a nice touch!) very long black opera gloves that reach almost up to the armpits.
Now I understand exactly why Sir Charles was so keen to give my husband all that extra “training” before his engagement as Sissy Maid Prudence with the D’or Baleine family! The training was simply an excuse. The two have become passionate lovers, and are spending as much time as they can in the boudoir. And here’s the rub – I am becoming extremely aroused by watching my gorgeously femininized husband being deeply penetrated by the athletic and magnificently equipped Sir Charles.
Both are clearly deriving immense pleasure from each other’s bodies. And I – Lady Rebecca Georgina Arabella Lyndon, Duchess of Basingstoke – am totally turned-on from watching this deliciously erotic spectacle!

Every person faces their own inner battles, which are unique in their intensity and significance. These psychological struggles cannot be compared, as they are an expression of each individual's journey through the depths of consciousness. They are the touchstones that shape us and lead us to explore the limits of our being. Overcoming these inner conflicts holds the possibility of growth, transformation, and enlightenment.
The pursuit of overcoming these inner struggles is a deeply personal and often solitary journey. It challenges us to look into the darkness within ourselves and find the glimmers of light that guide us. In this inner argument lies the chance to discover the essence of our being and strengthen the connection to our true self. Thus, these inner conflicts are not only tests, but also invitations to self-knowledge and spiritual development.

I kept this series practically closed as a self-portrait series for a very long time. I think it’s time to open it up and at the same time connect it to my overarching theme, the portraits.
As a rule, these are long exposure shots with exposure times varying between 2 and 30 seconds. In this case 4 seconds. They are series that deal with a range of human feelings and thoughts. They deal with desire, loss, regret and pain and the attempt to process all of this.
