4010 shows on Bustimes as still out on the road but has been parked up for some time, I think the ticket machine in 4001 is from 4010

My 4th (and final, for now) shot of Transdev's X98/ X99 Skyclass MMCs is 2017 entering the affluent village of Linton; having just crossed over the River Wharfe. Although mostly all of the areas around here are pretty expensive; this particular village appears to be inhabited exclusively by football players and range rover-driving chief executives, all with private registration plates and no indicators.

Transdev Rosso "Rochdale Runners" YX13AEG 761 seen coming into Rochdale Interchange on service R8 to Norden
The transdev route 21 links rural villages to the north of Knaresborough with Boroughbridge. It is amazing from observation how few people now use these routes since I was last in this area. This bus never picked up a soul after leaving Boroughbridge and it was mid morning on a fine day...it wont last in its current form. Speaking to people locally the numerous changes and splits in the route coupled with previous unreliability has almost killed pleasure and shopping potential with only the most necessary journeys now undertaken. Goldsborough is a fine village with attractive centre, the approach from the Knaresborough side is through two listed gate piers, one of which has mysteriously been knocked down by a passing vehicle. Perhaps interesting that planning permission was recently rejected for new houses in fields near the village with the narrow entrance through the piers listed as one reason why...
