Went on a little trip to the sun this week.. and now I'm back! ☀️

While the weather wasn't perfect, I did find time to do a couple of outfit shoots.. even on top of a mountain!!

My friends put up with a lot of my shenanigans.. and I love them for it! 😊

I recently traded in my Canon 650D crop-frame camera for a Canon 6D MkII full frame, and this is my first picture with it.

How is this to lift the lockdown blues?

Leeds March 2020

The heat wave is over for now and it was actually quite comfortable this morning. I was thinking about wearing a skirt but a sweater and pants seemed more appropriate

on my way to the hospital for blood tests for future treatments

My manager has given me a challenging sales target to meet this month and I am determined to not only meet it but exceed it then he might consider promoting me. He has offered to buy me dinner if I reach the target and other girls in the office have told me to be wary as he sometimes has a target of his own.

I know us brits love to talk about the weather but we do have good reason. Here we are in the middle of a drought with hosepipe bans across the country and it is actually chucking it down right now. As you can see I always come prepared.

Well boys and girls a New Year is upon us so let's grab it by the scruff of the neck and make it a good one. Wishing you all the best for 2026.

Today I discovered lower lashes that I didn't know I had, courtesy of Max Factor Dark Magic mascara.

Thought I'd have a little fun with photoshop and create different scenarios that make you wonder if this was a good idea or not.

Scenario #4: The Makeover

My sister was bored one day so she asked me if she could give me a makeover. I originally said no but she kept on asking so I finally gave in.

She was so excited. So I sat down and she started the process. At every step of the way, she kept saying "WOW, this is unbelievable". She wouldn't let me see the results until she was completely satisfied.

When I finally looked in the mirror I was in shock. Staring back at me was a beautiful woman. She immediately started taking pictures and texting them to her friends. They were amazed too.

Then her boyfriend called and said he was coming over. His cousin was in town and he wanted her to meet him. She told him her cousin was in town too (me) and maybe they could double date.

It all happened so fast. She dressed me in one of her cute outfits and we waited for them to arrive.

What could go wrong, Right?

No trip to Brighton is complete without spending time strolling around the lanes and visiting some amazing, and at times, quirky shops. It is an even better experience when the sun lights up the streets.

I have been helping colleagues decorated this bar ready for our Christmas office party and now I am heading home to change into a nice festive party dress and then try to avoid the mistletoe as I know what my male work colleagues are like once they start drinking.

Taken whilst "Out and About" last Friday.

(In case there is any doubt, I was parked up and stationary when I took this)

Out and about in Basingstoke last Thursday.

It might be cold in London right now but at least it is dry so I wrapped up warm to take some exercise. I didn't fancy being cooped up indoors but I did need to thick tights and boots to keep cosy.

How much do you luv this chair?

Out and about, and popped into The Trading Post at Wokingham, and saw this hat.

I don't need a hat, and I don't know when I would wear it, but it had a ticket price of £20 and the seller said they'd do it for £17, and I couldn't really refuse.

The photo was taken with my new Oneplus 7 phone, in "Portrait" mode which adds artificial Depth of Field.

What girl does not enjoy a shopping trip, I wanted to treat myself to some new tops like the one I am holding here and while out I also bought a really lovely dress. It was a great day.

Enjoying a stroll along the South Bank of the River Thames before going for a nice long lunch with girlfriends. The day was quite warm so I thought I'd wear a nice dress for the day.

Popping down the shops with minimal makeup again

Exactly the same phone and camera settings as my last pic, but I look fatter here. I guess it must be the angle, because I've actually lost a tiny bit of weight since the previous pic.

Mind you, the bags under my eyes don't look as bad, so Swings & Roundabouts I reckon.

Miss November.... Hey! Don't Laugh! It could happen. :)

Come over here and sit down and tell me all about your day...

These are all out of my little "studio" and transposed to the "real" world. Used the new "Nano Banana" feature in Photoshop. I only selected pictures that really look like me - not some AI super fantasy.

I particularly like # 2, with the girl on the side checking me out. ;-)

Playing around with the Snapchat filters. So fun :)

A lovely linen / cotton mix dress by Per Una, bought in a charity shop for only a few pounds.

My good friend Helen took this picture while a group of us were out for lunch and I think it just sums up what a good place my head is in when openly expressing my femininity in public. I was deep in conversation and unaware of what Helen was doing which makes my look of contentment all the more natural. Hope you agree.

Waiting to break my morning fast at the Roxy in NYC!

I think my dress and this sofa go very well together don't you. Got to say I love chilling in a dress.

This is from my last trip to Brighton and on this Sunday morning with a fresh breeze blowing in from the sea I thought I'd wear this new little skirt with some opaque tights to help battle the elements.

I am sat in my hotel room after getting dressed and putting a face on waiting patiently for my girlfriends to arrive in reception so we can go out for the day. I cannot wait to once again openly express my femininity in public.

Now the days are short and drab I guess there will be many a grey day like this. Won't stop me strolling around in a nice dress and boots though I am definitely an all weather girl.

Loved this dress as soon as I saw it and once we get to spring I cannot wait to put it on again. Can't beat a pretty dress can you.

A cute little dress by Mina.

Heading to the office, on a day not as scorching as this one, and mingling with tourists and other office workers as I cross Tower Bridge.

Are you coming or not? I haven't got all night

A crushed velvet t-shirt dress that I bought on eBay

This tunnel connects the Isle of Dogs and Greenwich and I am about to walk under the River Thames. Still a girl has got to do what a girl needs to do as I have a lunch appointment over the other side.

Waiting in for a tradesman, and taking a quick selfie whilst I wait.

Just a day-to-day outfit that I wore when popping out to see friends.
