Mounted police and army cavelry training on Scheveningen beach for 'Prinsjesdag' (when the government presents the budget plans to parliament, every year on the third tuesday in september) in The Hague (The Netherlands). Music is played, shots are fired and smoke bombs are detonated in order to get the horses used to the circumstances during the parade and to possible scenarios.
I am really happy with this scene and plan on building a bigger version of this after I finish sorting and cleaning my lego room. Which is not going well because every time I start, I end up just building! :D Expect a another castle MOC in a few days!

My daughter was training on the our patio as we can't really go out at the moment! I set up a black backdrop, got out my Godox Wistro AD360III and popped off a few pictures. Later in PS I added some smoke and flares to jazz it up.

The B10BLEs have been displaced on Aberdeen training work by former First Midland Bluebird Scania L94 Flolines.
First into service was 65594 which has had a partial repaint to the sides and rear into this old style training livery rather than the current style as applied (but not finished) on 68000.
Since this shot lettering has been added and the flip dot display from 62201 added.
The need to train Severn Valley Railway Guards in the art of operating vacuum-braked trains saw visiting 37688 run a return trip between Bridgnorth and Bewdley with a "scratch-rake" of vacuum-braked stock on 24/3/2018.
Running as the 10:45 Bewdley - Bridgnorth, it is seen shortly after departure.

My marathon hike along the coast from Harrington on Tuesday evening took me to Cunning Point.
This shot from the beach shows the 17.31 BIF - CAR snaking around from Lowca behind 37218.
A surprise sight was the appearance of a former Selkent slash Stagecoach London Optare Versa which is currently on loan from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire, acting as Gillmoss's driver training vehicle.
25302 began life having been delivered new to East London Bus Group for use from Selkent's Plumstead base for use on 469 in late-2008. Following Stagecoach reacquiring the East London Bus Group from Macquarie Bank in 2010, 37002 as it was known was renumbered to 25302, in-line with the rest of Stagecoach's Optare Versa fleet across the UK.
By 2012, 25302 transferred to Barking before being converted for use as a driver trainer in 2016. By 2017, 25302 had moved over to West Ham and later Romford before moving north to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire towards 2020.
Optare Versa 25302 (LX58 CHG) heads along Whitechapel, Liverpool on driver training duties.
