I rotated this as I designed it on the shape of an F1 car. I've designed some of my own F1 tracks because I got bored and it was fun. If you can think of a name for this image please post it below.

Clockwise

The Sarajevo Olympic Bobsleigh & Luge Track was built in the early 1980s for the 1984 Winter Games in Yugoslavia. Nowadays, they are talking about restoring it for its original purpose (so the Bosnian team can practice), but until then, it remains a graffiti park. This is the bottom of course 2, which is 374 meters long. (The entire length is 3 courses, about 1.2-1.3 km long.) I'll attach a YouTube video for fun if you want to watch some of the '84 Olympics coverage from the US of bobsled. You can see what it looked like, and also what these folks were like before Yugoslavia dissolved and they went at each other's throats.

Although it was freezing and very windy over by the plane hangar, we decided to hang around enough to at least get a couple of pictures. Luckily there were no trains to be found either.

ODC - Making Tracks. I always seem to be inspired by my kid's toys. Perhaps it's because I see them everywhere and often. Bulldozer, sitting on a terry cloth towel which I sprinkled with cracked pepper. (oddly, this has made me hungry...)

These are freight tracks embedded in the street, not trolley tracks. They are standard gauge, whereas all trolley tracks in Philly are broad gauge.

You can see the awesome abandoned Reading Railroad trestle in the background. (Stay tuned; there's a bunch of interesting shots I took up there coming up!)
