The Tracker Predator has one of the worst quality control issues I've ever seen in a toy. See, they're made of stiff, brittle plastic, and they are permanently glued into place. Mine came broken in the package... and broke two more times shortly after these photos were taken. ARGHBLARGH.
The 50 feet of track wouldn't be built for a few weeks, until I assembled this track gang you see here. There wasn't many pictures taken of the construction, as it absolutely poured rain the entire day. It took us over a day and half to build, and it was a lot harder than I expected, but in the end it was a lot of fun. Special thanks to my track gang of my Dad, Wesley and Nathanual, who pretty much worked for free!
Before leaving Coyote Buttes, we used our GPS (my phone) to find these dinosaur tracks. These are seriously real dinosaur footprints aka 'trace fossils', a few inches wide. There were a few others nearby that resembled the tracks a snake makes (maybe a swishing tail?) but they were very faint. There are supposed to be many more tracks in the area, although their location is not well-documented to keep them in good condition. We had already been in the desert for close to nine hours at this point and were too tired to continue searching for more!
