For me not a pure art nouveau style but a bit of historism also.
Fürstenberg beer, a very recommendable brand is omnipresent in this region.

It's been some time that I've posted something here on Flickr. I was busy with different things and my motivation was a little bit gone. Now it should be go on again:)
New Townhall in Hannover at the blue hour.
My girlfriend had to leave for work to Mechelen, Belgium for 3 weeks. I wanted to surprise her, ao I went there for the last weekend she was staying there. Being a surprise I didn't let her know I was going to be there so I went strait to the hotel she was staying at, and found out she was not there, while her mobile phone was dead. So I Had to walk the town by myself, while looking for her Rain was coming and going all throughout the day, and in the evening, I was in the main square with the cathedral to my back and the town hall in front when this beautiful light, sky and rainbow appeared over the town hall. People were stopping to take pictures, and I stopped to change the lens from a kit zoom to this fisheye lens. Got several pictures with people shooting the rainbow, but in the end I felt that this was the better one. I met my girlfriend back at the hotel at around 11 PM and she felt sorry that we didn't meet earlier but I don't know if I would have taken this shot otherwise (That's because I stayed a lot in the main square thinking it would be the most probable space to find her), .
A quick holiday with my parents in Paphos, Cyprus, left me with many shots that I will share in the upcoming days!
Paphos has everything going for it: Beautiful beaches, rich nature, turquoise sea, friendly people and charming city!
Guimarães is a city and municipality located in northern Portugal, in the district of Braga. Its historic town centre has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001, in recognition for being an "exceptionally well-preserved and authentic example of the evolution of a medieval settlement into a modern town" in Europe.
I guess I'm a bit jaded, but those two trees were it for the town hall's seasonal decorations. Not that there's anything wrong with the trees, but that was it for the whole building.
The snow in front was very dirty so I replaced it with cleaner snow from another photo.

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE.

We ordered a shawarma on our main street near townhall, and then walked around corner to a little plaza next to the building. We found a table under an awning although that isn't the right word — more like banners in a way As I ate my shawarma, very messily I might add, I looked up and saw the tower of town hall framed by the awning. So I went back to the car and got my camera. On the tree to the right, you can see some leaves yellowing in the early autumn.
