They're not good in mud; at all.

The International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), formerly known as the International Six Days Trial (ISDT), is the oldest 'off road' motorcycle event on the FIM Calendar.

The ISDT was first held in 1913 at Carlisle England and occurred annually (apart from interruptions due to World War I and World War II) at various locations throughout the world. It's great to once again welcome it back to Carlisle to celebrate it's 100th birthday. At the end of the International Six Days Enduro ride a centennial rally featuring classic bikes from 1913 to 2013 will follow the original 1913 course down into the Lake District and finishing in Carlisle. These photos are from Thursday 16th August - Machine examination, registration and scrutineering.

On the ferry crossing Fjord

Looking over the cascade mountains on WABDR, BMW F800GS, Garmin montana 600 Nuvi 500

Getting the bike ready to tour ... purchased items from Revzilla, AltRider, Touratech, WingStuff & Cee Bailey.

The additions/changes are: Cee Bailey windscreen - wider & tinted, fender extender, Touratech pouch (holds iPhone 6 plus), highway pegs, Honda GL1800 luggage rack (hack job) and finally some fresh rubber and rear brake pads.

Already to roll ...

I'm not sure if this was a TT bike, but I still like the style. too bad the dakar is discontinued. I'm waiting to see if the rumours about a f800gs dakar are true or not
