2012 Yamaha Super Tenere (Ténéré) with Touratech Zega Pro panniers, stainless mounts, Altrider Stainless guards, and Altrider aluminum skid plate. Dash mounted GPS mount over the meter by SW Motech. As sold by Lee's Inc, Harrodsburg, KY. Preparred for Todd from Louisville, KY. Credit goes to him for the great choice of aftermarket items.

Strobist info: 1 430EX bare @ 1/8th I think, on a stand about 15' right of bike about 6' above ground. A bare 200E about 15' left on a stand about 5 ft above ground. Taken early one rainy morning. I wanted to use an umbrella on at least one light but it was too windy and I had no help. Bare might have been better here anyway.

Sadly John passed away the day after this photograph.

The International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), formerly known as the International Six Days Trial (ISDT), is the oldest 'off road' motorcycle event on the FIM Calendar.

The ISDT was first held in 1913 at Carlisle England and occurred annually (apart from interruptions due to World War I and World War II) at various locations throughout the world. It's great to once again welcome it back to Carlisle to celebrate it's 100th birthday. At the end of the International Six Days Enduro ride a centennial rally featuring classic bikes from 1913 to 2013 will follow the original 1913 course down into the Lake District and finishing in Carlisle. This set of photos were taken on Sunday 18th August during the classic rally and enduro.

The Superseal 4 way connector from AMP/Tyco Elec. connects the O2 sensor to the bike's harness. The connector is AMP's 1.5 series, no. 282106-1. It's standardized, so as long as it's a 4-way connector (for 4 wires) it's ok, even if the vendor doesn't know the series or part no.

Photo shows it unassembled. Buy 2 complete sets. Two males ends and two female ends, so that you have spares if you make an error.

The connector is tough to find because it's normally sold wholesale. Some are available on Ebay UK and Spain, and it's also sold by Touratech USA. Touratech has an instructional pic on their site, and their set includes spare pins, a real benefit.

BWM K1600GTL - stuff I've changed or added ... accesories.

I get quite a few message from folks either here, Instagram or YouTube asking how I like the bike or what changes have I made. So I went for a ride and took pictures of the items I've changed/added. Most recently, I added the side stand foot.

Anyway, no particular order:

- Cee Bailey windshield - inch wider on each side and a light tint vs the stock ... the contour helped reduce buffeting.

- Seat/saddle - Russell Day Long saddle - sent them the pan and it was customized to Laura and I based on inseam, height & weight plus our inputs. This was the best improvement for me. They retained the seat heaters.

- Luggage Rack - It is a Honda OEM rack for the Gold Wing - GL1800 ... I liked it better than the BWM aftermarket selection and I made it work.

- Engine guard - Altrider

- Side stand foot - Altrider

- Handlebar bag - Touratech ... this fits my iPhone7plus, toll cash and in a ziplock a copy of my registration, insurance and license. Easy place to put business cards that you are handed and other stuff. Great utility bag.

- Top case brake light - BMW OEM aftermarket install ... didn't come standard ... helps people know I'm braking. So far, no one has rear ended me.
