Ulm Münster (literally: minster) is a Lutheran church that is sometimes referred to as Ulm Cathedral because of its great size, although the church is not a cathedral as it has never been the seat of a bishop. It is the tallest church in the world, with a steeple measuring 161.5 metres (530 ft) containing 768 steps and yeah..I climbed all of those to get this picture taken in the spire of the cathedral. Here you see the entrance to the final stairwell known as the third Gallery, that is a tall, spiraling staircase with barely enough room for one person. In 1377 the foundation stone was laid in the Gothic era, but it was not completed until the 19th century.
Hand knit in Patons Classic Wool Merino, felted and embellished with hand made "burn flower", vintage lace, button and feather cluster.

The resource person for this workshop was Prof. Kannan, an artist and model-maker with over eighteen years of academic experience in teaching art and model-making to architecture students.
