These are the tools one is limited to.
Student teams work on constructing a load bearing bridge, using principles covered in their introductory structural engineering courses. Verkstad - Institutt for konstruksjonsteknikk, NTNU
These tools, found together in a coffee can, made for the only photo I knew immediately would not become a black and white job.
When I went in for my cleaning last week, the dentist found a sealant that had been put on some time ago had come out, so I needed to get a filling. Today was the day.
I've never really had a big fear of dentists. The sight of these tools doesn't really send a chill down my back like I know they can for some.
Though I have to say the needle they use to put the anesthetic seems super long when it is going in.
I snapped this while waiting for the anesthetic to go into full effect.

Bought out of a fifty cent capsule toy vending machine in the lobby of a Burlington Coat Factory. I was trying really hard to get the hacksaw, but I failed. You can't even see the hacksaw on this promo sheet (www.eastcoastvendingsupply.com/item--Tool-Time--tool_time...), but it looked cool. Mediums used: illustrator pen tool, clipping masks (textures on sushi).
For this project, I went with the idea of being overly full and the buttons on the shirt popping. I tried to stick to a bright color palette and simple details to keep the page fresh with white space but not lacking in illustrative details.
