Normally I say this is just another man's opinion, but this time I think I'll read it.

These tools, found together in a coffee can, made for the only photo I knew immediately would not become a black and white job.

When I went in for my cleaning last week, the dentist found a sealant that had been put on some time ago had come out, so I needed to get a filling. Today was the day.

I've never really had a big fear of dentists. The sight of these tools doesn't really send a chill down my back like I know they can for some.

Though I have to say the needle they use to put the anesthetic seems super long when it is going in.

I snapped this while waiting for the anesthetic to go into full effect.

Recent Tool Build, made from genuine mahogany and oak for the wedge

18.07.2019

Building on the five-year vision of Addressing Europe’s Unfinished Business, Tools For Changemakers strengthens its training component while embarking on a three-year journey of exploration of the link between personal and collective identities in Europe, the rise of populism and nationalism in different European regions, the need to belong for old and new community members, unaddressed collective traumas, and the urgency to work with these issues in order to build more trust and cohesion in Europe.

i decided to try my hand with bleaching a design on an undershirt. i tried it on this grey one first, but it didn't work (there's a little polyester in it, that's why).

Of all the wonderful tool makers of the world, Jernbolaget in Eskilstuna, Sweden was one of my favorites. Jernbolaget (or The Steel Company if you prefer the translated version) was much more than a tool maker. The company is mostly known as a large supplier of kitchenware, household items and cutlery. I don't own very much of their products, but the large cast iron kitchen scale is one of my favorites.

Older items normally display the full company name "Eskilstuna Jernmanufaktur AB" or "Eskilstuna Jernmanuf. Aktiebolag", later one's the abbreviated "Jernbolaget Eskilstuna".

The company symbol was an anchor and although it can at times be poorly stamped, it appeared on all their products, even down to the smaller chisels.

I have not sen a greta deal of hand tools from Jernbolaget, so I am uncertain about which types of woodworking tools they actually made.

At a later stage Jernbolaget exported their woodworking tools, some of them under the brand "Anchor". At this stage Jernbolaget also started making hand planes.

I have never seen or tried a Anchor hand plane, so I cannot say whether they were good or not. But the cutter ought to be excellent. The steel made by Jernbolaget was equal to that of Erik Anton Berg.

Bought out of a fifty cent capsule toy vending machine in the lobby of a Burlington Coat Factory. I was trying really hard to get the hacksaw, but I failed. You can't even see the hacksaw on this promo sheet (www.eastcoastvendingsupply.com/item--Tool-Time--tool_time...), but it looked cool. The scale varies wildly on these, but I think the saw is close to 1:6. It might be fun to use some of these in a workshop diorama, but at least one is going on my keychain.

I decided I wanted some actual feet on this rather than having it just sit on the bottom of the frame so I used my jig saw to cut out a small arch in the two side pieces,

The Salzburger Lungau has lots of great mountains for ski-touring enthusiasts. Head over to hikinginfinland.com to read more about them!

Created for collage obsession. Theme: tools.

The tools listed-from left to right-were used for the following:

Circumcision knife from the 1770s

Amputation knife from the 1700s

Arrow remover from the 1500s

Mouth gag from the 1880s-1910s

Amputation saw from the 1600s

Basic tool belt design, similar layout to the one I personally wear daily. Material would be 100% leather, with either gold or silver zippers.

My tools... Still not using the knife, but its turn is to come =D
