Took a ride out in the desert to see if any wildflowers were blooming, it was a futile trip but it was a nice day and felt good to get out and off the pavement. The subject is never supposed to be centered but wanted to show the terrain the road is in, took several shots with the road in the “proper” area of the photo but this centered one won out so the rule was set aside, oh well, have been known to break a few rules
We took a sunset dinner cruise on the Seine on evening. I had wanted an opportunity to shoot the cathedral from this angle and could not believe my luck at the timing. This was taken from the bow of our cruise boat.
I took a three shot bracket with one two under and one two over and did an HDR in LR. Then I used Color Efex Pro 4 to intensify the contrast, color and sharpness.
Took this yesterday in Portage Indiana near where I'd parked for the evening. Been busy, as usual. Went into another cavern a several days ago in Independence Missouri. Much tighter than the Carthage caverns. I'll post something from there sometime down the road. It was the most challenging cavern I've been in, lots of tight turns and pretty dark and creepy. Anyway, hope everyone is having a good week and weekend ahead.
Took a ride south yesterday and visited here for abit. Not the ice like last winter. It was like 18* and the wind was RAW off Lake MI.
Took this back in April. I wasn't sure how to bring out its best in processing. I have a lot to learn in the processing area. Photography as I am learning is infinite as far as learning the skills and never can be mastered. But I love the chase.

Took a trip down to Meols beach tonight, looked promising for a good sunset but the usual band of dark cloud ruined the evening, so i used my 10 stopper to suck all the available colour out of the sky
Took the car into the Skoda garage in Bushey to have the cambelt replaced. They needed the car most of the day so I walked into Watford. This is the new pond at the top of the High Street, with seats all around.
Took this short star trail before heading back from shooting stars at Mount Alexander. A total of 14 frames at 30 secs each were stacked together. The scene was lit by a quarter moon.
The city lights and cars in the distance are Bendigo, Central Victoria.
Took a long walk around my neighborhood at night. It's amazing how different the familiar can look when the sun goes down and the city lights are turned on. Tell me what you think, and try photographing your everyday landmarks after dark.

This is a picture I took a few years ago of Harlaxton Manor. You may recognise this place for it's appearance in a number of films, more famously for the remake of the Haunting Starring Liam Neeson, Lili Taylor, Catherine Zeta Jones, and Owen Wilson. I have never been into the grounds or the house itself as it doesn't seem to be open to the public very often. However there are a few open days throughout the Summer Holidays and I only work a few miles away, so I may be tempted to visit soon.
Took some photos of the sunrise this weekend. Slight HDR work applied, but I hope wouldn't disturb the view too much.
Took this shot about 25 miles north of Winnemucca Nevada off US-95. Paradise Summit is approximately 5300' above sea level.
Took this capture from the deck where I was out of the rain under a canopy. The light in the yard was from lightning that was in the sky overhead out of the frame, but happened during the 30 seconds of exposure and provided the nice foreground lighting. I guess that could be called Lightning Lighting :)
Happy Bench Monday
I took this photo on our first visit to Moab. The lone figure of an elderly Japanese tourist (I doubt I am wrong about his nationality), poised over the edge of the Island in the Sky, is what I remember most vividly about that day. Will he or won’t he? He kept bending ever so slightly forward, only to lean (ever so slightly) back, like a singing samisen string seen in slow motion. Will he or won’t he - look at me?
Took this over 4 years ago. This lady was absolutely strikng. 6 foot 6 tall. Leopard print long fur coat. Sunglasses. Incredible hair. On a drab winters morning in Kent House, London.
I asked her If I could take her photo and she kindly agreed. I took a number of shots. I had a quick look at them and they looked fine on the camera. I then thanked the lady for her kindness. It was only when I looked at the photos on pc at home that I noticed the half wit of a photographer was reflected in sunglasses in half the shots!!!
A learning curve....😎
Thanks for visiting.
You have a good weekend.....
I took both the tours of Blanchard Springs Caverns in Arkansas. I'd never heard of this place, but it had huge underground rooms with lots of elaborate cave decorations like this and was every bit as good as Carlsbad Caverns. I didn't have a tripod, so I braced the camera on the railings where I could.
I took a drive down to Marazion in Cornwall last night to get a few drone shots of St Michael's Mount.
I've wanted to get a few views of the mount for a long time and now I have my drone I thought I'd pay a visit after work yesterday.
It was a gorgeous evening and Jim and I got some really nice shots
Took my mountain bike out for some serious muddy off roadin'! Exhilarating! Exciting! Fast! Very Muddy!
Where I live I am surrounded by fields and woodland and so I took my bike out Tuesday morning at 6am as the sun was rising. I'm quite scratched and bruised as its quite tough terrain here and there's always brambles hanging down round the edge of fields and bridleways. My arms took a a proper scratching.
I took my bike out again this morning for another 5 miler as its gonna be hot one today, there was a rising mist across the fields and a gorgeous Sunrise.
I don't take my camera as it may get broken. I will have to stop and do an iPhone image next time.
Now for a cup of tea and chocolate biscuit.....

Took it at local central park Burnaby, lots of outside activities going on here. 在位于本拿比的中央公園,夏日時光的各種活動同時上演,祝夏安..
Took this photo from the balcony of the property we rented while staying in Maui. Needless to say sunsets there were amazing. How many different colors can you count in the sky?
Took this shot Keranigonj, near Dhaka, Bangladesh. The monsoon sky was beautiful and the clouds spreading over sky made the landscape amazing!
I took a couple of days off during a February winter outbreak, which is a rarity in Poland these days. It was a great opportunity to witness how winter gradually conquered the sea.
It looks best full-screen so please press "L" and check it
I took this shot from the kitchen 20 feet away on a sever angle, The window is next to the chimney and the frog was on the other side of the pond, the only way I can get him is with my zoom lens.
Please look,

Took a drive a a couple of weeks ago..it was overcast and not the best light, but I loved seeing these two Red-shouldered Hawks showing off their beautiful markings! Been working long hours and keep hoping to see the "light" at the end of the tunnel, but it just doesn't seem to happen!
Took me a while to get this out my beauty, but I adore spending time with you, had a great little moment this day, as usual. Thanks for your lovely friendship and easy company :)))

We took an evening visit to Bow Lake in the hope of getting a nice sunset. Sadly it wasn't to be but I had a chance to play with long exposures for the first time and I like the effect it creates. My thanks to Justin Minns - www.flickr.com/photos/justinminns/ our tutor for the course for his help, guidance and enthusiasm to impart knowledge.
Constructive criticism is always welcome.
Took this at a small fountain outside a coffee shop opposite St Paul's tube Station, London.
Take care. All the best.
Thanks for visiting.....
Took several captures in the Dumbo Area of gorgeous Manhattan Bridge, this is probably one of my favourites...cheers, Udo
Took this photo of this charming couple, watching the birds on the opposite side of the canal. Love their bobble hats too.
