Took another look at a few of the images form the storm coming ashore at the Galveston Island seawall. This one is earlier that evening and before the darker image I posted in January. The Historic Peer is in the distance on the right.
I took this photo last Christmas at about miday into the sun which wasnt great. I think its a nice photo anyway and its a truly beautiful place so it kind of makes up for it hopefully.
Best wishes to you all from me in Ireland.
P@t.
I took two pictures , then a fallen drop destroyed the beautiful rain cloud.
Thank you for your visits, favs and comments !
I took this image at the excellent Durlston Country Park near Swanage. When I visited last week, the flowering Gorse and Blackthorn were a joy to behold and I was keen to get some images of the birds amongst the blossom. This was the best I managed of a Linnet, perhaps the most apparent songbird in the park last week, but rather too flighty for close up photography!
This is kind of an odd photo, but I like it. I took this photo from Redington pass east of Tucson Arizona.
I took many photos at the Dahlia show in Berlin's Britzer Garten... thought the purple world be matching to the dark and wet days we having now!

Took this shot, early morning as the sun was just coming up and this gray heron was hunting for fish along the lake shore.
Took it in California, the temperature at noon time around 35 c during I visit but morning only 20 c very cold... you can see the two people wearing winter cloth. 加州不同地方的天氣差異很大,這個內陸小鎮早間氣溫只有20度,但中午可以到三十五以上,兩個早鍛煉的人穿著冬天的衣服,而我這個無知的人還穿著夏天的短褲
I took this back in August of last year. This was the second time I visited this amazing location in my life... It only took me 5 years to head back to it haha.
Kinney Lake is nestled approximately 6 Kms in on the Berg Lake Trail in Mount Robson Provincial Park. For those who do not know, Mount Robson is the tallest peak in the Canadian Rockies. You do hike in the behemoths shadow pretty much the entire time.
I hope it doesn't take me another 5 years to go back. I spent close to two hours just sitting by the lake snapping pictures haha.
♫ I took a pill in Ibiza
To show Avicii I was cool
And when I finally got sober, felt ten years older
But fuck it, it was something to do
I'm living out in LA
I drive a sports car just to prove
I'm a real big baller 'cause I made a million dollars
And I spend it on girls and shoes ♫
Took a back road to nowhere and this I never expected in the location I was in. Early out tomorrow and hope I have a day like my friend Mike Cohen, then all will be good.
Thanks as always for stopping by and is always very much appreciated.
Took this shot from the Whitby Abbey cliffs looking down on Whitby's harbour walls . It was quite bright when I took the image but ominous clouds were rolling in from the North and the rain began about thirty minutes later
THANKS FOR YOUR VISITING BUT CAN I ASK YOU NOT TO FAVE AN IMAGE WITHOUT ALSO MAKING A COMMENT. MANY THANKS KEITH. ANYONE MAKING MULTIPLE FAVES WITHOUT COMMENTS WILL SIMPLY BE BLOCKED
I took this pic quite some time back and never posted it so figured it was time to do that. ;-P
Taken at Love Valley, AiR Island. SLURL:
Took a little roadtrip yesterday up to Salem, MA. Came back with a photo of a brick wall. That's so me!
Happy Sliders Sunday!
Took it last week, watching a air Canada's flight landing in the autumn Vancouver. 上個星期拍的,看到飛機降落在秋天的溫哥華,因為長焦的問題,飛機沒有那麼Sharp, 但意境不錯
I took this photo of my favourite bridge at Derrybawn from the opposite bank of the Gleanealo river just for a change. I think it works ok though the light is always tricky here. It is my most favourite bridge but Im sure you know that already! Lol! Honestly though, so many here seem to like it too so your all to blame for encouraging me!
I find the name Derrybawn somewhat magical It comes from the Gaelige. " Derry " which is a corruption of the word "Daoire" [ Dirra } which means "Oak Trees " and " Bawn " {Bonn} means White.
So it means " The White Oaks ". Now you are all speaking Irish!!! In Ireland sessile oak trees are often referred to as white oaks. There is one giant tree still standing here which was obviously part of a great forest and I have some photos of it on here.
I do hope you like it.
Im off on holidays shortly for two weeks so Ill catch up when I get back.
Best of everything to all of you!

Took this in Southwestern Washington.
I took quite a few pictures while walking around this area. The links are to a couple of other shots I took nearby. Totally different look to each.
Took this November 2016, very early for our trees to turn colorful.
This is a place I made sure I stopped every Sunday morning back from work.
I took this photo after 10 pm in front of our holiday home in Disentis, Switzerland.
Earlier that day we'd been caught in the rain on a walk, but the view of the clouds rising from the valley in the evening and the last sunrays reflected on them, more than made up for that wet walk!
It was a view I came to love very much: on the hill opposite our holiday home I could see the beautiful village of Mompé Medel (see earlier photos) and in the background Piz Medel and its glacier.
Took this shot from our Kitchen window with my 80 400 lens.
Been ill these past few days cannot spend enough time in front of the computer....
Happy July first!
Took this one the other morning at the favourite spot Turimetta. The morning started off without a cloud in the sky and but then when the sun rose, they crept in from the west! So I turned around and took some snaps.
Single exposure using a Cokin GND8 and Circ Polarizer.
Thanks for looking!
Took this shot yesterday just before dusk at a scenic view point off I-5, near Sweetbrier California. The timing was right for some good light on Mount Shasta, and the interesting clouds sealed the deal, I had to pull in. This is 25- 30 miles away from the mountain.
I took this one at Lonsdale Quay, in North Vancouver, overlooking the Burrard Inlet. You can see a pier in the bokeh, and in the distance, that faint horizon line is downtown Vancouver.
Taken with Meyer-Optik Gorlitz Oreston 50mm f1.8.
Took it during I visited the sunshine coast last month, this family living by the quiet inlet on a small island. lovely lifestyle I believe. 水邊的人家總是讓人浮想聯翩,有種退隱江湖的感覺,也許這些人家從未涉入江湖
Took a piece of copper wire, rolled then wrapped it, in the twists of the roll you can see the copper crack. 3/4 of inch square frame.
Took Linda out for a romantic candle-lit meal at the Crab & Lobster, we had a beautiful meal, washed down with there finest wine, well Linda did I was driving ;-( then I realised, I left my wallet at home ;-))) so Linda paid for the meal again, and said from now on your wallet travels in
my handbag at all times ;-(
Took a ride the other day folks and found this guy just chillin,' and telling me how hot he was just sitting there, but for me he was so cool.
Thank you all for everything.
Took a day off yesterday folks due to another visit to the E.R. But all proved all very well and there were no issues, so why was I there.
Thanks to everyone for everything.
Came upon this guy after finishing his meal of unknown origin, hoping to get luck next time.
I took this flower twice, with 2 lenses. First photo taken by fujinon 55mm f2.2 was posted last year. This is the second by meyer-optik gorlitz domiplan 50mm f2.8. Which one do you like 😊
took the picture at Bahama Mama's and then mailed it in the time machine back to vintage me who stuck it in a shoebox until the other day and then had coffee. ugh. my love song to you all. ❤
