Along the western coast of Italy sit five cities collectively known as the Cinque Terra in Italian. Corniglia is one of them. Tourist traffic is not permitted so the only access is by rail which shuttles back and forth between the cities and along the rugged Italian coast. We visited 10 years ago and I still remember the quaint beauty of this part of Italy.
Once again take liberties with the scene using Photoshop to create a double track. I love to play. So, can you tell me the correct time this photo was taken?

There are too many steps in this castle, and it seems to me they add a few every night, just to vex me
George R.R. Martin,
Alot of people stop on the corner between Glenuig and Roshven. On a clear, sunny day it is a fantastic viewpoint either out to the small Isles of Muck, Eigg and Rum or inland up Loch Ailort with the mountains on either side. Too often the view is stunning but I can't decide whether to stop and take a picture. It's easy to say it will look this gorgeous any other day and drive on by. Today, with a bit of extra wind I just had to have a go at a panoramic shot (4 images)

A beautiful , but chilly day today ! Time to have a practice with my small glass orb. Problem was it was very bright and difficult to see what I was focusing on ! But this one wasn't too bad .

Generally, I think this shot is too busy. I like my them cleaner/simpler, but for some reason, I keep coming back to it, probably for its texture and color palette. 20200116OffA1DXOLr8
Bearded reedling. Off course when they come this close i may be excused for missing out the end of his tail :-)
While I was expecting the arrival of eastbound CN freight 416 at Wabamun Lake, I didn't know there would be this much power on the head end. Nine units is a little tough to frame into the shot, but taking a page from the Book of Grumpy, "At least the leader's clean!"
Unbelievable but true, I photographed this part of the fence around the house in Germany. A neat and orderly country where it is hard to find something like this. Almost a jack pot. ***
Skoro jack pot.

Possibly my favourite composition at Ringing Roger with the foreground rock creating an 'x'. I've stood here many times perfecting the composition. It felt quite precarious yesterday with the frozen rocks.
These are the best conditions I've had. Often, patchy doesn't work, creating too much contrast. But the hard frost decreased the contrast on the rocks.
I couldn't fit the foreground rock into one frame for the previous upload as I only had 24mm equivalent lens. This is good though as going wider reduces the impact of Loose Hill and the Great Ridge.
Pigeon, wants to pick up some snacks before... - Enjoy!
