Siblings stick together as mom and dad watch on. These little guys use their new found freedom to explore the strange world around them. Full of all types of interesting, delicious and also dangerous things to get into.
They have little time to enjoy the fruitfulness of summer before colder weather takes over and they'll embark on their first journey south.

The spools are the same, the composition different, PoV and aperture.
Originally I couldn't get these three spools to stay upright for "Pastel" theme"Macro Mondays: Pastel" as I wanted but I did today.
Have I made it better with a diffrent composition and aperture? I don't know.

Listening to - Catch my Breath
Lake Oeschinen is a Unesco World Heritage Site and considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain lake in the Alps. It lies above Kandersteg and is an intact mountain lake fed by the glacial streams of the three-thousand-metre peaks Blüemlisalp, Oeschinenhorn, Fründenhorn and Doldenhorn. Unfortunately, I chose one of the hottest days to hike in this area. The 32 degrees celsius made me long to jump into this deep blue, but very freezing lake all the way up and back down. Let me tell you, there’s nothing better than to end a strenuous hike with a refreshing swim in a mountain lake. :-)
