There are some things that I like about the cold stark reality of winter. Most things are asleep or dormant. The look is most often bleak.

This photo was taken from Adelaide Torrens River at Elder Park yesterday~ it was really a great place to do photography. One of the Pelican here is playing with the lighter... How much I afraid he/she gonna swallow it. hehe...
Anyway, I had a great time there yesterday... :-)
I felt alone
until night rose up to greet me
and offered its comfort.
Companionship in solitude
is always a welcome reprieve.
We were alone
together
and that was enough;
Night held onto me
without a word or a touch
but it was there, present,
Its silence was pure
not filtered like my own
It gave me space
yet surrounded me
both protective and open
asking nothing,
Its presence gave me peace.
