For the last years, my best spot for toadstools is just around the corner from where I live - in a small patch of beeches on the playground. Too many kids and too many Karens, so they rarely become older than two or three days.
In with one of our pot plants. Tiny toadstools? They have appeared very recently, growing in the added potting mix.

Probably Cortinarius rubellus (Deadly webcap).
On acidic-sandy soil with conifers (usually pine). Deadly poisonous, most toxic British toadstool after aminita spp.

Had to lie down on some plastic this morning in the park! Not 100% sure whether these are mushrooms or toadstools but I won't be making an omelette with them, just in case...!
Took this pic of her today. I love this spot and it's a very nice place to be alone or take some rest. Glad this pic turned out great!
Toadstools Formations, UT
These formations are easily accessible. Just a short 1/2 mile hike off of US Hwy 89, between Page, AZ & Kanab, UT. I hit these on one of my many trips to the area in 2019.
There are a number of photography oportunities here. I hit the area around mid morning. The light was pretty good. the "theater" of where these rocks sit are all south facing/exposed, so I think any part of morning or later afternoon would allow proper light to shoot most of the formations.

I came across these mushrooms or toadstools in the woods. I have no idea what they are. Can anyone advise me?
In any case, I did not take them home for my dinner.

I usually only photograph mushrooms if they are colorful, but this one was just such a classic I couldn't pass it up.
I've been finding lots of toadstools this autumn. I suppose its because of the reasonable summer and the mild autumn.
If you are getting fed up of fungi let me know and I'll find something else!
I found a new place with geologic wonders on my last trip up to Page, AZ. Not far across the border into Utah and only a short 1 mile hike from the highway, are these amazing toadstool rocks. There is a wild narrow band of red rock running through the predominant white rock of the area.
As usual with my series, I post them in reverse of the order they were taken, so that when completed, my stream can be viewed seeing the shots in the actual order they were taken. This one is from well after sunset, which gives the light a strong blue cast.
