What do you put on head before shaving?

Head shave tips: Holmes recommends using an aftershave lotion or balm, as opposed to a gel or splash. It's especially soothing for anyone with sensitive skin.

Edible Parts: Flowers; Leaves; Root; Stem.

Edible Uses: Tea.

Leaves and young shoot tips - raw or cooked. They can be used in salads or cooked as a vegetable. When boiled they make a wholesome vegetable and are a good source of vitamins A and C. Only use the leaves when they are young. Although they are said to be edible, another report says that an infusion of them can stupefy. Young shoots - cooked. They make a good asparagus substitute. Root - raw, cooked or dried and ground into a powder. Used in spring, it has a sweet taste. Flower stalks - raw or cooked. Added to salads, they are used when the flowers are in bud. The pith of young or older stems - raw or cooked. Slightly sweet, tender and pleasing to eat, though there is not much of it. Gelatinous, it can be used as a flavoring in soups. The stems are said to be a good laxative, but are best not eaten on an empty stomach. A tea is made from the dried leaves, it is sweet and pleasant. Called 'kaporie' tea in Russia, it contains 10% tannin. The leaves are also used as an adulterant of China tea.

MEDICINAL USES: Anti inflammatory; Antispasmodic; Astringent; Demulcent; Emollient; Hypnotic; Laxative; Poultice; Tonic.

Willow herb is often used as a domestic herbal remedy, though it is little used in conventional herbalism. The herb is antispasmodic, astringent, demulcent, emollient, hypnotic, laxative and tonic. It is used in the treatment of diarrhea, mucous colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. The plant is used in Germany and Austria to treat prostate problems. A poultice of the leaves is applied to mouth ulcers. An extract of the leaves has anti-inflammatory activity. An ointment made from the leaves has been used to soothe skin problems in children. A tea made from the leaves and roots is a folk remedy for dysentery and abdominal cramps. A poultice made from the peeled roots is applied to burns, skin sores, swellings, boils etc..

OTHER USES: Fiber; Stuffing; Tinder; Weather protection.

A fiber obtained from the outer stems is used to make cordage. The 'cottony' seed hairs are used as a stuffing material or as a tinder. The powdered inner cortex is applied to the hands and face to give protection from the cold.

Modular by design, our turbo-back systems are available in street or race configurations. Street series systems include a Magnaflow 200 cell catalytic converter. Race series systems include a test pipe. On race day the cat can be easily swapped for a test pipe. Six unique tip fitments allow our turbo-backs to fit any mk4 1.8T. Our 1.8T turbo-backs are technically a combination of our 3" downpipes and our 2.5" & 3" cat-backs. Repeating the features of our downpipes and cat-backs would only make a long story longer. One feature our downpipes and cat-backs can't boast on their own is power gain. In our extensive testing we were able to dyno test a 'typical' mk4 and measure the changes. We used a relatively stock 2002 GTI 337 edition. The car was chipped, had a cold air intake and an aftermarket diverter valve. No other engine modifications were made to the car. Equipped with stock exhaust, we drove the car thoroughly and dyno tested it. The stock exhaust was swapped out for our 3" turbo-back system and the car was driven to adapt then dyno tested again. With weather conditions literally exact we measured peak gains of 22.5 hp and 48 lb/ft to the wheels! Power gains were felt all over. Boost was built faster and held out longer with the stock turbocharger. No power losses were felt at any point in the powerband. Turbo-back pricing starts at $770 and varies by series, pipe size and tip fitment. All configurations can be purchased.

The male is much more conspicuous and more frequently seen than the female as only the male has the bright orange tip on each forewing. The female has grey wing-tips with a black central spot on each forewings. The hind-wings of both the male and female have mottled green undersides and this mottling can be faintly seen on the upperside. These latter features readily distinguishes them, especially the female, from other Whites.

Study Tip: It's important to set goals, as long as they're attainable. Setting goals that are unreasonably high is a set-up — you'll be doomed to frustration and disappointment.#study #studytip

Study Tip: If you're stuck on something, or something just doesn't seem to make sense, you can always ask for help. Talk to your teachers or lecturers about the things you don't understand. Talk to your friends and fellow students too. #study #studytip

Skagen on the northern tip of Jutland in Denmark on September 21, 2022. World War II German Regelbau M 272 Geschützschartenstand 120 grad für mittlere und 12cm dänish. This casemate housed the second cannon (2. Geschütz). A look inside the Kartuschraum (Catridge room), with a view over to the Granatraum (Shell room) on the other side of the corridor, which leads out to the Kampfraum (Gun room). It is interesting to note that the walls inside this bunker were left unpainted, while the walls in the first cannon (1. Geschütz), were painted in a colour reminiscent of ocher yellow

The marquee in front of the Woodland Inn at Short Gap, WV, advertising that weekend's entertainment. During the years I lived in Cumberland, I shared a name with a local musician who frequently played around town and in the surrounding areas. As this was still in phone book and land-line days, I would periodically get calls from people looking for the musician. I wonder if he ever got calls from people looking for the weird train guy. I'm guessing not.

The blacktip reef shark, Carcharhinus melanopterus, is a shark of tropical and warm temperate seas.

As its name suggests, the tips of the shark's pectoral fin and dorsal fin are black, with a white underside. Its skin is brownish in color on the top half of its body. It has been recorded at up to 2 m (6.5 ft) in length and over 99 lbs (45 kg) in weight.[1] Its snout is blunt and rounded. The gray reef shark looks similar, and is also common, but is distinguished by its stockier and grey body and its lack of a black tip on the dorsal fin.

This species is not considered social, but can be seen in small groups. While generally shy, they often are curious about snorkelers and scuba divers. As with most sharks, the body is bent into a sort of "S" shape when the shark feels threatened. Blacktip reef sharks are harmless unless provoked. Incidents generally involve hand feeding or spear fishing, possibly in combination with low visibility.

The blacktip is one of only a few sharks that can jump fully out of the water, a behaviour called breaching. They have also been observed surfacing to look around (spy-hopping).[2]
