Study Tip: Narrow it Down

If you try to study every single thing your teacher's ever said, you'll go crazy. Instead, focus on the most important topics. If you're not sure what those are, read the study guide (if there is one), or ask your classmates. #study

Balloon animal anyone?- Shot at the Pike Place Market with the 124G and a little fill flash

These are the images of one of my employees from a volleyball tournament we shot last year

We went to Legaspi City for a wedding shoot in Misibis Bay Island Resort, last January 8, 2011. On our way to Legaspi, we stopped a lot to take some photos. We left Manila January 7 and returned on the 13th.

This is the third day of our road trip and we travelled all the way from Legaspi to Matnog. When we found out that the RORO Montenegro Ferry costs less than a thousand pesos, we decided to cross over to Samar, via San Isidro. After crossing the San Bernardino strait, we drove all the way from Samar to Tacloban through the San Juanico bridge (longest bridge in the Philippines), and stayed overnight in Leyte Park Hotel.

In Matnog's terminal, the "fixer" asked for P1,600, but not including tips yet. It was shocking to experience everyone asking for tips, from the police, to the people guiding us into the boat, even the seaman who helped us enter the ferry, and another seaman who helped us park inside the Ferry, both asked for tips. I spent a little close to P2,500 all in all. Take note, the "fixers" have Id's, and they actually act and look like employees of the terminal. The Matnog terminal police are corrupt, even if they didn't see me or accept any payment personally, I was allowed to come in their building, sign the form, and leave, no questions asked. Apparently, a special service given to those who "pay".

I asked the "fixer" if it's like that in San Isidro on my way back (so I could prepare myself financially), and he said it's even worse. Surprise surprise, we didn't spend a cent for anything other than the terminal fee and the RORO Ferry costs, around P1,100 all in all. The guards and pier staff even told us that corruption is not allowed in San Isidro.

The people in Matnog are the most corrupt I have ever met, and I am comparing them to all the people I have met in my travels around the world! I thought they have changed from the last time I travelled through Matnog around the 1990's, but I guess some things don't change.

Anyway, the RORO Ferry trip is only an hour and a half long, faster than if we took the Allen Ferry (about two and a half hours), plus San Isidro is about 60 kilometers closer to Calbayog than Allen.

I hope you enjoy these photos. 8-)

Jeremy, Julian, and Gary Stotko, otherwise called “The Restaurant Guys,” exceedingly suggest utilizing these frameworks additionally, offer a couple of highly useful insights: Do not utilize table-best ordering systems to completely replace servers. A decent server can foresee a customer’s needs where a tablet cannot. Or maybe, they ought to be utilized as a part of conjunction with servers, giving the customer more flexibility, enabling them to request and pay when they decide to, additionally to talk with human beings in the event that they would prefer.

Modular by design, our turbo-back systems are available in street or race configurations. Street series systems include a Magnaflow 200 cell catalytic converter. Race series systems include a test pipe. On race day the cat can be easily swapped for a test pipe. Six unique tip fitments allow our turbo-backs to fit any mk4 1.8T. Our 1.8T turbo-backs are technically a combination of our 3" downpipes and our 2.5" & 3" cat-backs. Repeating the features of our downpipes and cat-backs would only make a long story longer. One feature our downpipes and cat-backs can't boast on their own is power gain. In our extensive testing we were able to dyno test a 'typical' mk4 and measure the changes. We used a relatively stock 2002 GTI 337 edition. The car was chipped, had a cold air intake and an aftermarket diverter valve. No other engine modifications were made to the car. Equipped with stock exhaust, we drove the car thoroughly and dyno tested it. The stock exhaust was swapped out for our 3" turbo-back system and the car was driven to adapt then dyno tested again. With weather conditions literally exact we measured peak gains of 22.5 hp and 48 lb/ft to the wheels! Power gains were felt all over. Boost was built faster and held out longer with the stock turbocharger. No power losses were felt at any point in the powerband. Turbo-back pricing starts at $770 and varies by series, pipe size and tip fitment. All configurations can be purchased.
