From the The Photographer's Ephemeris I knew that the sun would rise in the space between the Wells Fargo Building and Koin Tower. What I didn't know at that time was the altitude (elevation angle) of the peak of the Koin Tower and therefore that on this day the sun would be directly in line with the peak of the Koin Tower as shown above. But from timestamp of this shot and using the TPE you can now figure out if and when it will happen again (see first comment below). Meditate. N42751

Tried and adjusted Gigapan to match Nikon S6's nodal point, and it generates less distorted image. Not perfect still since S6 doesn't have exposure lock and I have to set Gigapan to wait 7 seconds between shots since S6 is pretty slow in low light.
