So this is the canon adapter cable we salvaged from a very cheap ebay bought remote. We basically just cut and stripped it. I used the microntoller i was testing the DP-001 with so I could quickly kludge up a display counter for shot counting.
227 photos taken between 22:18 and 22:30 on June 16th.

A very brief glimpse of a Tahoe night sky timelapse.
I would have loved for this to have been longer, but I've been continuously running into problems with my hastily planned timelapses. Maybe next time.
Just a short test timelapse taken in Alaska. The first part was taken from a cruise ship and the second part while in Homer.
Simple timelapse math: a frame a second for one hour results in 1 minute of video. Then adjust the seconds between frames to get the final length of video you want.
15 seconds per frame is a little fast. (900x)
Next time, let the night develop a little more. Note, astronomical twilight goes to around 1 hour after sunset.
