This was mostly an experiment to see if I could get the time rotor going upside down. And I could!
Ended up sticking a bureaucrat time lord in there, of the kind who often showed up to bother the Third Doctor during his exile.

This build is inspired by my RPG character from a old BZPower game called BZPower's Bara Magna.
Why? Well, WHO is more like it!
Anything to do with Doctor Who has the potential to come out....randomized! So it proved when it occurred to me that the "Zu" in "Zucchini" rhymed with "Who". What came first? The vegetable, which was so mighty, that it deserved a photoshoot before dinner. It proved big enough for seconds, 'n all.

Most of the Doctor Who action figures here come from the big Character Options Eleven Doctors set. The War Doctor, 12 and 13 are also Character Options toys, added as they became available. It was fun being able to put the Doc's numbered incarnations (+1) into one picture.
The most difficult thing about this photoshoot was keeping the figures from slipping off the zucchini! Carefully counted pins were deployed, and just as carefully counted as I put them away, for obvious OHS reasons.
Ta to Annette, for cultivating a courgette that fourteen could sit down at and also to Abigail, for cooking a very scrummy meal that served two! (She also helped wrangle the table setting for the shoot.)

Without Russell T Davies revival of Doctor Who, there might have never been the 9th doctor. As far as the 2005 revival, Christopher Eccleston was most people's first Doctor.
As a kid, I recall watching episodes but Christopher will be the one identified with as my Doctor. With that being said, like most people, David Tennant's 10th Doctor is my favorite Doctor. Christopher will always have a place in my heart however and I wish we could have experienced his doctor for a longer time.

so i was making the space suit that the tenth doctor used in "the satan pit" "the waters of mars" "42 ect and i think it came out ok XD there is a helmet but its in the works :L
"Regeneration"
the Hull of the transport ship creaked and groaned,as it tumbled thru space. The doctor and The captain of the ship, Regina, ran thru a hallway bursting in sparks and smoke,sealing off the corridor behind them."We are compromised at both ends!" she yelled over the din of machinery "we have to seperate the cabin slots from the damaged core, or its going to continue to tear the ship into pieces!"The Doctor covered her head from sparks and shouted back,"if we seperate from the core,the cabins will be drifting in space,too far for a rescue!" She wrenched open an acces hatch and yelled back "Nonsense! the cabins have thrusters,just not meant for long distance travel! Enough supplies and the distress beacons been running for 20 minutes!" Another explosion rocked the hallway and sent them both back against the wall. The transport ship was a Refugee class IV, meant to take roughly 200 people from the dying planet of Thranea to a halfway station,before settling in at their destination of Caldinar. with over 300 people onboard,the crew tried to voice safety concerns,But were overtaken and held hostage,as was the Doctor.an outburst of violence and a fight for leadership left the ship damaged and hurtling thru space."If only i had my tardis!" the doctor cried in frustration as he pried off an electrical panel."What?! that box wouldn't hold three of us!" Regina exclaimed as she got back to her feet."you would be surprised!" he laughed.
The panel fell off and the Doctor tried to override it, but it was too late.the Core was unstable and approaching critical mass. "theres got to be something you can do!" Regina cried as she looked back thru the panel windows at the many passengers watching them. So many scared and innocent faces hoping for a miracle. "theres only one thing we can do.." the Doctor said gravely,stepping past her towards the hallway full of fire."these four levers will detach all four sections of the ship.. leaving the cabins and cargo to float free from the ends"
"...But?" Regina asked, fear in her voice. "But... these two levers," he said as he grasped the rubber handles, " Have to be pulled after the seals come down... on the not so friendly side of the ship..." She sighed and said "You mean on the part thats going to drift free... out there,all alone.." "Im afraid so.." he said as he swallowed hard,sadness pouring from his eyes. "Well... "Regina yelled as a crackling wire came down in the hall, "Captains got to go down with the ship,right?!" She pushed past him, and pulled the first lever,sending a warning sound thru the hall.She pushed the Doctor past the lines in the floor to stand at the other levers," You pull these two and don't worry about me, you take care of these people and see them safe to their new home!" he tried to argue,but she was almost already done. the Doctor pulled his handles to create a vaccuum,emergency lights flashing up and down the hallway.The doors slammed down in between them, the seals hissing and sputtering."You don't have to do this,i can figure out another way!" the Doctor yelled, the intercoms still letting them communicate." You just make sure everyone else lives .." She said as she gripped the last handle, she turned to smile at him,tears running down her cheeks..."and Don't feel sorry for me" She pulled the handle all the way down,until it locked in place.the great metal clamps began to release,breaking and crunching under the stress. "But i am sorry.. "The Doctor said,looking down, " im sorry for Lying to you... but i knew you would never knowingly let me take your place.. " the hall behind him exploded,sending metal pieces scattering. Regina looked around the door,and at the lines in the floor... "But, you said -" she started.. "Yes,yes, the lines in the floor..."He said stepping up to the window seperating them,"I just lied about which side you were on..." He winked thru a somber smile,and waved a hand thru the air as he turned."But Doctor!!" she cried,as a thunderous split sent the doctors section spinning away from her.she pounded on the glass as he faded into the blackness of space.
the Debris from the impact on the Surface of Azure, spread a long deep trench into the blue ground.smoke and fire billowed for days.The Doctors body lay at the base of a heap of metal,wires and insulating shields. a glowing light slowly began to swell around his fingertips, his eyes burst open and his chest heaved in pain. "Not ... Done ... yet..." he Gritted thru his teeth as he exploded in a tornado of light.

(I have been loving and losing The Doctor for the past 26 years. my brothers and i used
to stay up past midnight to see if this strange tv show called Doctor Who was going to
play on a very static and snowy PBS channel.sometimes we could barely see and or hear
what was going on,but we would still "watch" until it ended. sometimes it was a pledge drive with a room full of phones,yet we watched hoping to see the doctor. My first Doctor
was tom baker,or at least the first i remember.as i grew up, the daleks and Davros, the
cybermen and the Master were all inspirations to both my imagination and my nightmares.
When sylvester Mccoy became the doctor,and with the help of Ace, a more modern and
less corny doctor was born. Some of the special effects blew my young mind, we had
always seen doctor who with boxes for "armor" and silly plastic looking ray guns. it's
putting it lightly to say i am a fan, in many ways i feel like Doctor Who was the first
mythology i ever learned about. and it has always been near and dear to me, thru all
the variations of actors playing him,thru all the companions.
On November 23rd, it will be 50 years since the very first doctor who episode aired.
in only the highest regard and with the most respect and admiration,i wanted to create
my own stories inside that universe. the stories of .. the Thirteenth Doctor. -Drummy)
Bernice Summerfield, archaeologist and professional drinker, is one of the best of the various characters to have spun off from Doctor Who over the years. And one of the best characters from her own range of stories is the enigmatic Irving Braxiatel, Time Lord, collector, connoisseur and git.
I wanted his TARDIS to be fairly traditional in general design but more advanced (his is a type 70) and styled like an elegant art gallery/library, to fit his high-class exterior.

The fourth Doctor's first Tardis didn't look much like this - it was weirdly squat and the top level of the 'pyramid' on the roof was missing, but it was later replaced with a version that looked a lot more like this one though the prop itself was in terrible condition.
It's surprising just how much the size, shape and colour of the Tardis has changed over the years. The producers of the show have justified it by claiming real police boxes varied just as much. But this isn't actually true - the Tardis was based on a very particular design which never varied in reality (plus, it was made of precast concrete, not wood). There were other designs of police box but none of them looked anything like any version of the Tardis.
In fact, no Tardis has ever been an exact facsimile of an actual police box though they've all been 'close enough' to pass muster as long as there wasn't a real one around to compare it to.

The third of the Seven Deadly Sins: Gluttony, as represented by the Adipose, cute, adorable Doctor Who monsters made from blobs of human fat.
Dante has this to say: Cerberus guards the gluttons, forced to lie in a vile slush made by freezing rain, black snow, and hail. This symbolizes the garbage that the gluttons made of their lives on earth, slavering over food. Dante converses with a Florentine contemporary identified as Ciacco regarding strife in Florence and the fate of prominent Florentines (Canto VI).
I'm working on another Doctor Who Infographic, this time featuring the Doctor's enemies. It's slow going, so in the meantime I thought I'd post a sneak peek at one of the characters.
The Master is an evil renegade Time Lord and the archenemy of the Doctor. Think of him as Moriarty to the Doctor's Sherlock Holmes.
The Master has but two main goals: becoming Ruler of the Universe (that's quite an ambitious plan) and the destruction of the Doctor.
He often used disguises and mind control to conceal his identity while constructing his elaborate plans. He also sometimes manipulated alien races, pitting them against one another to further his evil agenda.
The early version of the Master was suave and sophisticated, able to be both polite and evil at the same time, which is no doubt what made him such an appealing villain. He usually dressed in a simple black Nehru-like jacket with matching pants and always wore black gloves.
Like the Doctor, the Master has gone through many regenerations over the years. Not even apparent death has stopped him, as he's even possessed the bodies of non-Time Lords to prolong his malevolent existence.
The Master and the Doctor were childhood classmates on Gallifrey, and possess similar levels of intellect. During the 2010 episode The End of Time, it's revealed that Time Lord children undergo an initiation in which they look into the Time Vortex itself. Apparently the sight of the Vortex causes some Time Lords to go mad, which presumably explains the Master's motivations.
He often used a TARDIS to travel through time and space. Unlike the Doctor's TARDIS, which is permanently stuck in the shape of a Police Box, the Master's featured a fully functioning chameleon circuit and was able to disguise itself as any number of objects (a tree, a computer bank, a Romanesque column and even a grandfather clock).
The Master's original weapon of choice was a Tissue Compression Eliminator. This device shrank its victims, leaving behind grotesque, doll-like corpses (given the budget of the early series, that's exactly what they were too-- Ken-sized dolls!).
The First Master was portrayed by Roger Delgado, and is the version depicted here. He first appeared during the Third Doctor's tenure in the 1971 episode Terror of the Autons. He clashed with the Third Doctor (played by Jon Pertwee) many times during Delgado's three seasons in the role. In real life, Delgado and Pertwee were good friends. Sadly, Delgado was killed in a car accident in 1973. Many fans have speculated that his death led to Jon Pertwee's decision to leave the show shortly afterward.
There've been at least six versions of the Master over the years. I hope to get around to doing at least some of the rest of them one of these days.
The Master is a vector drawing, done all in InDesign. It's always tough drawing a character who's dressed predominantly in black. You have to cheat a little and use dark grays, otherwise you end up with a black silhouette.

i crossed paths with a retired time lord who didn't seem too happy with her predicament; kept grumbling about something, couldn't quite make out what it was.
Poor Mr. Graves he was captured by the Time-lords the most terrifying faction in space and time, they are gonna pump him on all secrets and when he has revealed all secrets they might erase his mind an retrain him as a drone-zombie trooper!

LEGO Doctor Who minifigs need a LEGO TARDIS. So I gave 'em one. The interior is modeled after the one seen in the new series.

Unbeknownst to "Iron Man," these two were only cosplaying as a SyFy channel field crew. And they didn't drop character even for a second.
Har, har. But sometimes I see someone whose outfit I don't recognize and I have to play the "Cosplay Or Just Fashionable?" game. I myself was taken for a Timelord at a Boston Comic-Con, possibly on the basis that I was overdressed as a con attendee (I was moderating a bunch of panels) and wearing what I imagined was an understated scarf.
I bring this up because after this interview, the crew had Iron Man charge the camera, firing his repulsors. Their first attempt was ruined by someone who marched straight through the shot toward the exit, flashing two middle fingers as he went. Based on his clothes and his attitude, I was left wondering if he was doing "Sons Of Anarchy" cosplay, or if he was just an a***ole who dressed himself out of other people's laundry hampers.
