This is my first planetary timelapse video. I concentrated a bit too much on Io and overdid the gain which resulted in an overexposed planet surface as its elevation increased over the 2.5hrs.

Trafalger Square, London. More than 200 photographs make up this joiner. I went back and shot them over a period of 5 days. The wardens are the same two people throughout, but there are other examples of people appearing more than once.

It finally emerged! This is the chrysalis from 7 months ago (see www.flickr.com/photos/202848553@N08/54741088611/) that has been on my windowsill since then. I wasn't sure if it was still alive but the Sun has been pretty warm this last week and I noticed the colour changing and a couple of wiggles, so I set up my Raspberry Pi based timelapse camera setup - and just in time, it emerged the following morning!
The photos were taken every 2 seconds and the video frame rate is 30 frames per second, so every second of video is 1 minute in real life. The timelapse runs from 1104h to 1242h on 18/3/26, when it flew from the petri dish to the window. I opened the window and it hung around for a couple of hours before eventually flying off.
Although it benefitted from not having any predators, I'm not sure I did it a great favour, as none of the other wild chrysalises have emerged, so it is alone for the time being. But there are plenty of flowers around to give it some nectar, so hopefully it will be OK.
The camera was sat with the lens-cap on and a manual shutter release. I set it off without noticing and ended up taking an 847-second exposure of nothing at all.

On our trip to New Zealand we had day in the Milford sound area we started with a sunrise shoot followed by a boat trip round the sound then drove to our evening camp-site stopping many times on the way to take photos.

A little timelapse video taken last night while doing some astronomy out near Warril View southwest of Brisbane. This view is looking towards the South Celestial Pole, and features the southern Milky Way rising (with the Southern Cross and Pointers clearly visible) and the Magellanic Clouds. (which are satellite galaxies of the Milky Way) descending towards the horizon. It was a great night's observing, with the highlights including the barred spiral galaxies NGC1365 and NGC1300, the iconic Horsehead Nebula plus a few new objects such as the reflection nebula NGC1999 in Orion.
