A view of Timber Top Mountain with Shuntavi Butte standing in front. For a little perspective of these massive rock formations, Shuntavi Butte is 1000 feet (305 meters) tall.

Observation on she-wolf "Tala" (above) and male wolf "Canagan" (below) in their summer habitat @ Northwest Trek Wildlife Park.. Eatonville, WA. They are siblings approx. 11 years old. Wonder, might her expression imply keeping big brother 'in line'?!

On a sunny day with some fog rolling in a peaceful image of a normally crowded place. Jaworki, Biała Woda Nature Reserve.
I went back to this spot because I missed my chance last time to get this shot. It was busy with too many people around, but this time it was deserted. and the wind was extreme. luckily I had this timber wall shielding the tripod. I went out to the water to go down to a landing to get some shots but I couldn't even do that. not only was the wind nearly blowing me over, but the swells had covered the beach. couldn't even walk out because it was smashing into the sandunes and beach vegetation regrowth. But I got the shot I wanted so I was happy with that.

So after some tunnels, it's back to spirals. This is the spiral staircase inside Canada Water library. The staff were pretty relaxed about photography as long as there was no member of public in the shots - It was first thing on a Saturday morning so that was easy enough to achieve. I found it quote tricky to photograph as it is only 1 flight - would have been great to have had a ladder to stand on to get the shot.

Timber rattlesnake on deciduous forest floor. For me, the subtle beauty is truly astonishing. Especially here in addition to the colours and textures of the leaves.

Even when the sun is high and the shadows are short, there is always shade in the thick oaks of the Cross Timbers.

Another thing I found this weekend in the exact same place I found them last year(9/26/20)....neonate Timber Rattlesnakes! I only got one photo and the Mom was no longer around, or at least I couldn't find her. Apparently they have moved on as of today. Timber Rattlesnakes do not typically give birth in consecutive years so Im thinking this was a different Mom. Apparently they like this location as a birthing site which is odd to me.
