Sandhill Cranes on about to land on Sauvie Island in northwest Oregon.

So today, I hear Willow (Goose) screaming a distress call. I go into our storage area (where she isn't normally allowed) and find her in a picture box. Photo is looking down at her...she immediately gave me her " Look where I am!" look and squeezed her way back out. sigh... I thought something was seriously wrong. lol

Valeria smiled over the whole face when I told her about this weeks theme. I'm still not sure if she really didn't bribe the moderation of MM to come up with her themes - but two in a row might still just be chance. Let's wait for next week's theme.

Here we have the Leather theme. Blanket, cover and carpet are small pieces of leather, and I've sewn a small (and quite tight) leather sleeping bag for her friend.

Tiny Teddy was as kind as to perform for this scenery in Crazy Tuesday, although he asked Woody to hold him tight but not to squeeze him…

QE 2 traverses Geirangerfjord

It took a bit of eastward movement on my part, but sun-hole and train finally come together as the NS 168 rounds a curve west of Bartelso, IL. The Illinois Terminal heritage unit has subsequently found a home on this train and its counterpart, 167, but usually just a little too early, a little too late, or a little too wildfire-hazy to act upon.

Thanks for their risk, when we peel open that ear of corn there is no worms staring us in the face.

A pair of Little Corellas (Cacatua sanguinea gymnopis) in tight formation hurrying up Currumbin Creek later afternoon. This winter there are large noisy flocks of corellas on the Gold Coast and are readily seen feeding in open grassy spaces.

This is a young Virginia Opossum that was high up in a tree and holding the branch tight. This one was pretty young and probably only recently started venturing out on its own.

Captured in a Russellville Park hallway for Looking close... on Friday! theme: plush toys. HLCoF everyone!

It's almost Friday! Wish you a great day!

Preparing beach hut ready for winter.....

I walked along the beach path and could hear a radio but had no idea where it was coming from. I then caught this view out of the corner of my eye. I walked back and took a shot.....

You have a good day.

Take care out there.....
