Now Tigger's 11 years old and the weather's warming up, she takes several breaks on her morning walk.

Tigger on the futon at our old house in Yubari c2017. She was most likely waiting for me to put the futon down so she could claim her favorite spot.

As soon as I saw Tigger in the Winnie the Pooh set, I knew I had to make him bounce. I soon realised that to make this happen would require Tigger to be on something elevated. So, the next logical thought was to build his treehouse around the technic contraption.

I tried to follow the style of the Winnie the Pooh set so that they could be displayed together. However, I ended up needing the leaves from Winnie's tree, leaving it a little bare!

Tigger sleeping in the dark living room a day or two after Argent died in March of 2020. Tigger and Argent were rivals but Argent's death seemed to affect Tigger...

Been away for most of the run up to the holidays so just trying to catch up on some fun shots.

Using Lens Baby again for the intense DoF shots, the bokeh is awesome off of this lens!

Give me a "T"! Give me an "I"! You know the rest...

Every night Tigger sees something on the ceiling of the kitchen and stares at it until we turn off the lights. We think she’s staring at the chain for the light...

Tigger on my chest this evening as I tried to read. She insisted that I pet her instead.

its too hot today, but still i lay in the sun.

~Rest in peace, Tigger~ I miss you.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Big paws objecting to being photographed!

Tigger, the local tom cat, is gradually getting bolder and thought he would disturb me at the computer. This is the second time he has done this and I cannot see why, as there is little room for comfort.

Tigger and Angel 12-13-2022

Because Argent decided to sleep on a different box this evening, Norio stole her normally favorite box and slept there, giving Tigger a chance to sit on the kitchen table by herself, which she enjoyed.

Tigger fills the view in a macro image of her on the table this morning. She moves around a lot, making close-up pictures an exercise in frustration sometimes, but this time, she stayed still long enough for one good macro image of her.

Tigger decided to play with my finger (it's time to trim her claws!) while I was taking her picture on the futon this evening. Ow.

Tigger rolls around and plays as I try to take her picture on the table. Even with a sophisticated camera, she moves too fast for auto focusing to work this close.

Tigger doing what tiggers do best!

Apologies for the jerky bounce, as I am operating the crank manually!

The movement was based on a contraption found in the LEGO Technic Ideas Book - Simple Machines, and the song is care of The Walt Disney Company.

Tigger upstairs near my desk, daring me to rub her tummy.

Close-up (very) portrait of Tigger, who, like Argent, thought the heater was on even though it was, but was enjoying herself regardless.

Tigger trying to attack my fingers as I take her picture sitting on the sink in the kitchen of our house in Yubari, Hokkaido.

Naomi was in a room (off-frame left) and Tigger was guarding her from unauthorized incursions. Tigger also saw this as an excellent opportunity to attack me as I walked by. Even though she's 13, she's still very playful.

Tigger on the table, enjoying the sun and warmth and being pet by me.

When I was in the hospital, Naomi brought Tigger in to the vet. The main reason why was it is extraordinarily difficult to give Tigger oral medication with only one person (and Tigger only allows me to give her the medication although she tolerates others holder her). The vet managed to give Tigger her medicine and also examined her breasts for a recurrence of breast cancer. We had Tigger in about a month ago for the same exam and nothing was found. This time, the vet found a lump, between two breasts. The vet isn't sure what the lump is and so we're keeping an eye on it for the time being. Tigger's appetite is fine and she seems as energetic as normal. We'll talk more with the vet this Friday when we bring in Bonkers and Norio for their regular kidney IVs.

[It turned out the lump was a recurrence of breast cancer, this time it metastasized, eventually causing Tigger's death in April of 2020.]
