This variegated evergreen ground spreading thyme has superb lemon scented foliage. It grows to a height of no more that 5cminches and is ideal for the rockery or front of the herbaceous border. it flowers in late June-early July for 3 weeks.

Perhaps Thymus citriodorus, lawn adjacent to Phillips Public Library, 286 Cherry St., Phillips, Price County Wisconsin, 23 July 2018. Growing in lawn no adjacent seed source readily apparent. None of this species seen growing in the library's garden. Leaves with lemon scent when crushed.
