My wife planted a number of zinnias this summer in her gardens. Well this orange zinnia plant somehow volunteered itself on the corner of the street and our driveway!

A budding pink vinca/periwinkle in my wife's flower garden this morning.

My wife and I have a neighbor who has a confederate rose. It's several weeks early, but I noticed today it is blossoming. I captured this image from the side of the street.

Photo of the day March 09, 2023 - New leaves beginning to bud on the trees. Must be springtime in North Carolina!

Photo of the day, March 18, 2021 - Two dew soaked dandelions that have gone to seed. Taken in the yard, near where my wife parks her car.

I lined these little ornaments up on my window ledge as I was decorating my tree and thought how pretty and sparkly they looked with the sun filtering through the window.

These lights always remind me of elementary school. I'm convinced we had them in our child sized bathrooms, although it may be nostalgia rewriting history. No matter. I love them so much, because they remind me of a simple time before I really knew that there was ugliness in the word, that I'm determined to have them in our next house.
