This Throwback Thursday photo was selected not only for the time that has passed since it was taken, but because it's the opposite of what I see when I look out the window.

Winter really got started this week and while the colder weather and snowy ground has only just begun I already find myself wishing for warmer days and colourful surroundings.

I have a feeling it's going to be a long winter for me; but at least there's photos to remind me that spring isn't too far away... I hope.
