Shot 10 years ago ❤️ self portrait

Throwback to 2019 and 4144s visit on a 30742 charter. Seen here at my favourite location of Oldbury Viaduct looking the part on a typical branch line working

Working on a painting of San Xavier Mission, DeGrazia was photographed by National Geographic and appeared in an article titled “From Tucson to Tombstone” in 1953. Happy Throwback Thursday!

All time classic UP artwork by Fanakapan.

The former 56th Fighter Wing flagship recently got a heritage livery and now wears it's 56th FW titles once again. The F-16 is stil an important part of Luke Air Force Base even though it is being phased out by the F-35.

Sticking with shots of power straight out of the 90's, here is K657 north of Leipsic with BNSF 685 and 604 in full ATSF paint with almost nothing indicating BNSF ownership anywhere on either of them. Hard to believe this shot is almost two years old now. This shot was all I had time to get but warbonnets kick ass so its worth it.

Twenty years sure went by fast, this was the big hair girl back in the year 2000. Fond memories of these times, I had spent the 1990's very closeted and upon turning forty I was determined to finally break out. It's certainly been an interesting journey since then, lol.

One of my first ventures out was to a wig salon where I got fitted for this Raquel Welch brunette wig, the first true quality wig I owned. The owner of the salon, Eduard, was a real sweetheart, so encouraging and positive...the experience was amazing. We are still good friends to this day.

I still have this wig, perhaps I'll break it out for a "Back to the Future" adventure 😄

A look back to what was one of the biggest shoots in my life.Shame that back then I didn't really know how to use my gear, and that I was missing CPL filters. Then again, given the fact that I had my DSLR for two weeks then,it didn't end up that bad.

Thanks for watching.Comments, suggestions and faves are appreciated.

One of my favorite photos from six years ago. Was in a hotel room and my date took this photo before we left for the event we were attending.

Continuing on with "Throwback Thursday" to highlight some of my old LEGO photos that I've never posted on social media. This one is a real oldie from 2015. It was an image I took for a Classic Space project that never became a reality. I always liked the idea of these explorers roughing it on a harsh, unforgiving alien planet. Remember when I used to use yellow faces for my NCS figures?

For my first post of 2026, I thought I’d take a look back to one year ago today at the Tanfield Railway’s Whistle Off, which kick-started the Railway 200 celebrations.

More images from the event can be found here >> www.mattditch.photography/rail#/tanfield-railway-railway2...

For Throwback Thursday. In March, 2017, my son went to the United Kingdom and Ireland. Here he is at Hathaway Cottage, where Shakespeare lived.

Owen at Niagara Falls, Ontario and what use to be a jail.

These pics are from 2017. I felt I have to post something, because it has been almost three weeks since my last posting.

But hopefully I have time for some dressup fun next week. I can feel an urgent need to spent some time as Rikky again.

By the way, thanks to all my lovely friends and followers. Your comments help me to make it through these periods. 😘 😘 😘
