We'll be ready to organize your tours (railfanning, photography, sightseeing, cultural, etc) after a pandemic period and canceled the border restrictions. An important good thing is for any travelers that Mongolia is one of the NO COVID-19 outbreak countries! You can freely and safely travel in the Mongolian landscape :)

Please join our fantastic photo tours and welcome to the Trans-Mongolian railway!

No long caption tonight--just an SD26 leading an MOED under the old CPF448 signal bridge at Eagle Bridge, NY in the early morning of April 15, 2008. (Speaking of April 15th, that's the date I always tell out-of-towners that Spring starts here in Upstate New York. But, hopefully it starts sooner this year...). Scanned from a Kodachrome 64 slide.

For the next week i’ll do throwback posts, no better day to start it off on then Throwback Thursday! Here’s a CSX CWR Train that was headed south to the RF&P. I staked out the shore along the Patapsco for this shot, really wish i did this angle for other trains.

Train: CSXT W018 with CSXT 837 (ES44AH), CSXT 8335 (SD40-2)

A Red-necked Phalarope with a bug. It is fun to watch the food searching process of these small birds and very difficult to keep the focus locked at the same time.

Taken last year when we had an amazing opportunity to see these birds in their breeding plumage.

Old photos from holiday in 2014 in the Highlands of Scotland. These are some of the photos left in my old camera at the back of the wardrobe and forgotten.

Drove like a tank and impossible to parallel park; but it was FUN ;-))!

Hope your day is off to a good start? I must admit that this seasons transition period can be a bit boring here in Chicago. I’m struggling to stay motivated lately but I’m excited about new IR season being just around the corner. This was shot with IR Chrome filter. What do you think?

CP 6303 leads what would almost be a '90s throwback consist (save for the new paint on the leader) on train 286 through the curve at Waterford Avenue on Milwaukee's south side. Southbounds here climb Lake Hill, a not-insignificant grade. Combined with the curvature, it's always a good show.

1934 Brewster Town Car

The Brewster was immortalized in the Cole Porter song, "You're the Top" and is the only American to ever win the Gold Medal at the Paris International Exposition, a gathering of Europe's finest coachbuilders.

The Ford deal and the end.

To save Brewster from the Depression, an employee purchased 135 Ford V8 roadster chassis and designed a body for it, identified by its swoopy fenders and a heart-shaped grille.

Stylish and selling for only $3,500, it was a hit at the 1934 New York Auto Show. The bodies were worth more than the chassis. These cars were registered as Brewster and sold at Rolls-Royce showrooms, and were not branded as Fords.

Prehistory. Something strange in ancient symmetry...

I usually do not do portraits, so I am submitting a picture of me! Ha. Way back in 1965. So glad to be at the beginning of this wonderful group. HSS.

Found this "gem" on an old thumb drive. Me at a Unicorn Sanctuary circa 2013! So glad to see that both SL and I look better these days!
