I wanted to capture the night stars at Niagara Falls, traveled there again in the dark early morning on the past weekend. The background lights were too strong, I could only see the stars when I zoomed in the photo… 😉 Not great light like a week ago, but still showed the unique winter Horseshoe Falls.

A Marbled Godwit searching for crustaceans while wading through autumn colors, reflected on the salty water's surface.
I went back to this cave after 6 years and found it really changed (see my first version of this picture here:flic.kr/p/2fcf8Ry). Storm surges on the North Atlantic coast had partially blocked it for years, but recently it's been possible to get in again.

I have a couple of these shots and I could decide what to post first so I pointed at my laptop screen and picked this.
This shot confirms that not everywhere in the Teesside environs is smoggy and grimy.
Walking through SL I found this original cafeteria. What better place to show off the latest Rams Wear creation and one of the [west End] poses.
Great Egret
The baby egret is seen through the adult's beautiful breeding plumage.

Taken over the M11 roundabout in Harlow.
I wanted the railings to be a part of the image, rather than shooting through them. It took several attempts to get the railings just blurred enough.

There were just 2 aircraft, one flying in each direction. They both had a Wing Walker perched on top!
DISTINCTIVE ROLLER with long tail-streamers, very thickset. Most numerous near damp ground or watercourses, usually in pairs, and highly vocal, breeds in a tree cavity, and we have witnessed in the top of dead oil palms. Always a joy to find, even though these were not so cooperative this year. Seen at the golf course at Kotu Gambia.

Sits on the top of the tallest trees and palms, an insect aerial feeder, most active dawn and dusk, a joy to find, and one of my favorite birds.
Enjoying this trip with my brother very much, will be back on the 14th Feb, look forward to catching up with you all.

I'm sorry folks, but yesterday proved another good day for the Hawks as you will see in the coming days with this guy. The intensity he displayed was for a reason, enough for me to once again overshoot this guy with over 60+ images.

This was taken at the Sepilok Orangutan Sanctuary in Sabah. It was feeding time. I'm not sure, but I think the trainers have actually trained several of them to walk along the rail on the way to the feeding station. It was a rush to be so close. A pair EMD SD60s with an SD40-2 sandwich pull a CDCLA export coal train through rural Utah County just east of Payson, Utah the morning of Nov. 27, 1986. This rural grade crossing (UC 3550 West) was closed many years ago.
